Hello! We are in the full summer swing so I’m putting a post up to remind of certain policies that occur more during this time.
Waiting times ⏰‼️ We are heading into the summer months which is my busiest season, be aware if you are not already on schedule I am booking out a couple weeks typically during this time, so booking ahead of time is a must! Thank you all for keeping me so busy!
Fleas and ticks 🤮😵: Dogs with fleas with incur a £15 charge to cover flea bath, flea products for the salon and cleanup. We are a multi-dog facility so fleas are a massive no no, we cannot risk cross contamination to other clients. If fleas are found you will be contacted, the dog will be treated and the fee will be charged to your full groom price. To avoid this, keep up to date with flea preventatives from your vet and comb through your dog weekly especially if they are out and about in grassy areas.
Late pick up fees ⚠️: You are expected to collect your dog within 45 minutes of the given collection time, if you run over this time a £10 charge per 30 mins left within shop hours (£20 per 30mins after closing) will be added as a sitting fee. Ladies and sons of ladies, we love your dogs but we cannot be expected to be free dog sitters, to keep things running smoothly please collect in a reasonable time frame and make sure your phone is on loud when dropping off so we can get in contact.
Abuse to staff ❌: Not something I should have to explain, but abuse to staff is not tolerated. You will be blacklisted from future services.
Heat stroke 🥵: Dogs at risk of heatstroke (elderly, overweight, brachycephalic, XL breeds, thick double coated breeds) may need certain adjustments when grooming. The salon can get very hot so if any issues occur you will be contacted and we may need to cut grooms short for the dogs comfort.
