We will be enjoying our Wonder Walks as normal this week, safely taking precautions and assessing conditions regularly and on a continual basis to ensure your dog’s comfort and wellbeing at all times.

Measures in place can and may include:
🐾 Constant access to cool, clean drinking water at all times
🐾 Minimum travel time in a climate controlled vehicle
🐾 Restricted contact at drop off / collection to reduce journey time
🐾 Use of pet cooling aids where appropriate to include cooling bandanas, chill mats & fan misting
🐾 Altered walk routes to ensure shade and shallow water access
🐾 Cooling pet safe edible treats such as yogurt, fish or bone broth pupsicles
🐾 Reduced walk duration and / or earlier than scheduled walk times
🐾 Replacing walks with garden visits and / or cancellation of walks if deemed necessary
🐾 Reduced off-lead and / or vigorous play time including limited or no ball play
🐾 Brain games, training exercises and calm, sniffy fun in place to offer mental stimulation for those high energy breeds
🐾 Walks will be limited to grass only areas avoiding pavements, tarmac and hard surfaces
🐾 Individual assessment of vulnerable dogs including puppies, seniors, heavily coated and / or flat faced breeds and those with pre existing conditions

If you prefer your dog not to join walks on any day please feel free to let me know, healthy dogs are happy dogs.

Missing Mac already! 🐾
Today was Mac’s last Wonder Walk 🐾 as he heads to pastures new for a seaside 🏖️ adventure with his mum! Mac has been an absolute pleasure to walk, his soft, chocolate 🍫 eyes 👀 never fail to melt my heart, his chill vibe has been a welcome addition to the (sometimes!) crazy crew 🤣, his gentle ways and occasionally lazy antics have brought much joy and love 🧡 wishing Big Mac 🍔 & his mum the very best in their move X
