Beautiful day at Broads

The sun is shining, the air feels fresh and clean, and after a busy few days we’ve finally taken care of some long-overdue housekeeping and cleared out a few persistent weeds.

After nearly a year of trying, we’ve also finally taken control of the old Broads Equestrian Centre pages. They’re now being closed down, which means this will shortly be the only Broads Equestrian Centre page on Facebook, we may drop the '- Official' from the name.

We’re still being deliberately selective about how much we host while we continue improving the venue and making sure the events we do run are properly supported. It does mean turning some bookings away, but we’d rather focus on quality than fill every available date, we thank you all for your understanding on this front.

August is looking good:

9th & 23rd August — On standby to host Adventure Riding Club 🐴 Club Shows if the ground at their current venue remains too hard. Our irrigated outdoor arena and sand, wax and fibre indoor arena mean the weather doesn’t have to bring things to a halt *That's why we're the only British Dressage approved venue in the area 😉

15th August — Our first British Dressage event (super excited for this)

30th August — The Ollie Nicholls Charity Summer Showing Show is shaping up to be the show of the summer!

A bit of tidying up can make all the difference.

Onwards and upwards. We look forward to welcoming plenty of kind, respectful people through the gates throughout August.

We’ve finally joined Instagram.

Apparently we’re supposed to tell you we’re absolutely thrilled about it… but we’d rather just say we’ve done it.

The arena wasn’t built with buzzwords, and we don’t think our social media should be either.

You’ll still find all the important updates on Facebook, but Instagram is where we’ll share more of the day-to-day life at Broads Equestrian Centre. The good days, the muddy days, the busy days, and the projects that somehow took three times longer than expected.

Last call for entries. Come down and be one of the first to compete in our refurbished, British Dressage approved arena.

We’ve been watering every night to ensure the surface remains in top condition so no worries with this dry weather and hard ground.

Drinks & refreshments will be available from the cafe all day.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Saturday July 25th is our next Allen & Page Horse Feeds Club Dressage Broads Equestrian Centre - Official
Open to both members and non members. Intro - Medium and video classes for anyone who cannot get there on the day.

It's likely will will change things around this time with warm up indoors and tests ridden outside we will keep you updated on this.

Also if anyone would like to run through a long arena test let me know we could possibly fit this in.

A huge thank you to everyone at Adventure Riding Club 🐴 for joining us at Broads Equestrian Centre today after making the move to us at such short notice this week.

A change of venue is never easy, but everyone took it in their stride and helped make the day a real success. It was fantastic to see so many friendly faces, some lovely rounds, and such a positive atmosphere throughout the day.

A big thank you also to all of the organisers, volunteers, competitors and supporters who made everything run so smoothly.

We hope everyone enjoyed their day with us, and we look forward to welcoming Adventure Riding Club back to Broads Equestrian Centre again in the future. 🐴
