Saffron - 2 years - Female - Black and Tan - Spitz/Pomeranian
Saffron came into our care as a stray. She was a very worried, shut-down dog to start with, but with time and patience, she started to slowly gain confidence and now she greets her handlers excitedly every day. Due to her worried nature, she is wary of strangers. However, with lots of time and encouragement, she will gain confidence. Her new family will be advised to take things slowly with her at first - and then she'll be up in your lap before you know it. She is still getting used to walking on her lead and harness, and is nervous of traffic noises and all things in the outside world. She will need lots more further training and socialisation. Saffron could possibly live with another calm dog to help guide her and show her the ropes of everyday life. We are ideally looking for an adult-only, calm home with owners who can help her settle in at her own pace. ⚠️🚨Changes to Pet Travel🚨⚠️
From the 22nd of April 2026, new rules are being introduced on EU travel for pets.

Pet Passports issued in the EU to GB (Great Britain) residents, will no longer be a valid document for travel from GB to the EU. This includes EU passports issued in Northern Ireland or an EU member state, and those issued before the 22nd of April.

If you are travelling to the EU with a dog, cat or ferret, you will require an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV) before you travel.

Teddy was previously adopted from us, but sadly his owner is now in ill health, so he's returned to us to find a new loving home. Teddy is such a delight to be around. He is so loyal and will sit by your side. He gets on well with other dogs, so could live with another. He does not seem phased by cats either. He would like someone home part of the day as he has slight anxiety when left. Teddy will need trips to the groomers and he will need a privately-owned garden to potter and relax in. Her name is Lola... she is a cute girl! Meet Lola - a little hotdog with a big heart. Lola can be shy to start with, but once she feels safe with her person, there is no stopping her from getting all the fuss and attention. Lola has a soulful, deep voice and she is not afraid to let you know what she wants with it. Also her tail never stops wagging! She has that famous Dachshund streak of independence ('I'll come when I am ready!') Don't be surprised if you find a Lola-shaped lump under your duvet! Lola will need a secure, privately-owned garden to learn new commands and to have fun with her new family. Do you have Dachshund experience? She could live with teenage school children. No other dogs or cats in the home.
