This morning this box containing a young Jackdaw was found under the bench at the front of our practice .
We greatly appreciate the kindness and concern shown by members of the public when bringing injured or distressed wildlife to us.
Your efforts genuinely help protect local animals.
But we do need to know how long it has been left there to establish last time it was fed or had water 💧
We do not recommend leaving an injured animal unattended and would advise to contact a local wildlife rescue .
🚨But if there is no alternative and in an emergency please could you include a short note or call us with:
• The exact location the animal was found
• The date and time it was found
• Any known circumstances (injury, caught by pet, etc.)
This information is essential for rehabilitation and successful release back into the wild.
Many thanks
