As a part of this, I will be now be introducing a new package on a ‘summertime special offer’ called “1:1 Puppy Package”. This package is a 10 weeks course of 1:1 sessions with myself, costing only £300 and is suitable for those with a puppy between the age of 2 months - 1 year!

Upon enrolling, you and your puppy will work on the following:

🐾 Loose Leash Walking
🐾 Recall
🐾 Basic Commands
🐾 Confidence Building
🐾 Socialisation
🐾 Handling

This training package is crucial for setting your puppy off on the right foot, preparing them for adult life - it is at this age where they soak everything up just like a sponge! 🧽

All classes are based upon the principles of positive reinforcement and reward based training. 🐶

Fantastic session with Bear; now that the weather has cooled down slightly, it was great to get out with the gorgeous young lad this morning. ⛅️

Hi Everyone! ☀️

This is just a reminder as I’m shocked to see how many dogs are still being walked and in some cases, left in cars! The temperature is rising up to 31°c - this is a dangerous heat for your dog and to put it bluntly, you may very well kill them…

Due to the extreme heat, training sessions have been postponed or moved to online.

The clients affected have been made aware, so if I haven’t made contact with you yet, your sessions are still running at the date/time arranged.

It is important that we manage to keep our dogs safe in the warmer weather; avoid walking if you can… it will not harm your dog to miss a walk and in fact, can be beneficial to have a “down” day once in a while.

The same goes for any training sessions with me; if your session has been postponed due to the warmer weather, this will NOT have any effect on your dog’s progress as long as you KEEP UP with the training that we have conducted during your previous session.

Enjoy the sunshine but remember to keep your dogs safe, too! 🐶☀️

Lovely first session with this cheeky chappy! 🐶💙

This little man has some reactivity towards buses, motorbikes and scooters… This afternoon we worked on his engagement so that we can start preparing him for success when he comes into contact with these triggers for next time. 😊

Lovely meet n’ greet assessment with this gorgeous boy, Max!

Max is a young Labrador Retriever who struggles with his anxiety; he can be a little unsure of the world around him but I am sure with time, patience and dedication, he will flourish into a lovely confident boy.

‼️THE IMPORTANCE OF SOCIALISATION‼️

Chief is now approaching g 14 weeks old and is well and truly out and about learning about a whole new world beyond his front door step!

Socialisation is so crucial in a dog’s development as it helps them to become what I like to call a “bombproof” dog… This is where your dog can cope in almost any situation confidently and appropriately.

However, despite socialisation being so important, Chief unfortunately hasn’t been exposed to as much as I would have liked him to be exposed to due to the warm weather we have been having recently. But today we visited a local park and just sat on the bench and watched the world go by. 🐶

“Why did you just sit there?”

Socialising isn’t just taking your dog out and bringing them over to as many people and dogs as possible… In my experience, this only creates a dog that becomes very obsessed with people and dogs and later on you’ve unintentionally created a dog that feels the need to run over to every person and dog in sight making recall a lot harder.

So, as already said above, we just sat on the bench, allowing a small handful of dogs and people to approach and happily watched the world go by! 🌍

In the near future, I will be starting up my “Puppy Package” which will help new owners give their new puppy the best possible start.

The newest member of the team has finally arrived home! 🐶💙

Although already mentioned during our training sessions; I want to reiterate that I will only be doing a couple of sessions this week while I settle this handsome chappy into his new home.

28th May - 4th June, there will be NO training OR consultations as I will be abroad for a week.

Training sessions will commence on 9th June.

Lovely Saturday morning training session with this big lad! 🐶

His owners got in contact asking for help with his reactivity around other dogs when on the leash… Leash reactivity isn’t uncommon and with the patience and persistence, this lovely boy will become equally as social around other dogs even when back on his leash.
