We didn’t plan a lesson. We didn’t follow a curriculum. We just followed curiosity.

We found starfish in the sand.
We watched wild horses move across the landscape.
We noticed the small things most people walk straight past.

And somehow, in all of that, there was more learning than we could ever have planned.

This is why we’re choosing worldschooling.

Not because we have all the answers.
Not because it’s always easy.
But because we want our daughter to grow up seeing the world as her classroom.

Booked a riverside pitch and somehow got a full nervous system reset. The sound of the river, wildlife everywhere, a Red Kite swooping in overhead, and some of the most peaceful few days we’ve had in a while.

Vegan food, but make it full of flavour

So we have a gorgeous home Ed day out yesterday, Carmen went to Forest school in the morning whilst I went to pick my mamma up we had a fabulous day planned. I booked back in the summer, so glad I booked it in advance, we collect Carmen from Forest school headed to Cardiff Bay to an Italian restaurant for some quick lunch which was gorgeous and then headed over to Mary Poppins at the . It was a fantastic show, we then had a little mooch around the store in the Wales millennium Centre, which was so nice and then we headed home.

Anyone else love the theatre at Christmas time? It’s up there with my fave things to do at Christmas! We have another planned for Monday

Last night we wandered through at Margam Country Park — and OMG it was magical. 🌙✨ From glowing rose-fields and fairy-lit gardens to castle projections and sparkly fireflies, every corner felt like stepping into a dream. 🌹🏰

We spent about 75 minutes exploring the mile-long light trail, strolling through the Orangery gardens, admiring 6,000 colour-changing illuminated roses (yes, you read that right 😍) and even toasted marshmallows over fire-pits under the stars 🔥. 

If you haven’t been yet — do yourself a favour and book it. 🎟️ Trust me, it’s the perfect festive escape this winter. ❄️
