☀️ Hot Weather Update ☀️

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the lovely sunny bank holiday and staying cool with your pups! Just a quick update, with temperatures expected to reach around 29°C tomorrow and stay high throughout the week, I do plan to stay open.

💦I have a lovely cool salon with Aircon for your pups comfort, however please take care when travelling to and from the salon with them.

🕐 I am happy to come in to work earlier if anyone wants an early morning appointment to avoid the hottest part of the day, please drop me a message and I'll see what I can do.

🐶The welfare and comfort of the dogs always comes first, and I will be continuing to monitor conditions throughout the week and update you should things change.

LETS TALK TREATS 🍭

I often have discussions regarding dogs teeth and weight/health with clients that visit, I am often met with the phrase "my dog has a dental stick every day"
Have you ever stopped to look at what is in those "dental sticks?" In the first picture are the ingredients list of a top brand dental stick. There has been so much hype on Social Media lately about ultra-processed foods and how bad they are for our health, but what about your dog?
When you see ingredients like "derivatives of vegetable origin" "meat and animal derivatives" or the generic term "oils and fats" you know they can't even name the species that these products are coming from, what does that tell you about the quality of the product? 🤢

In contrast, check out the ingredients lists on the products I sell, clearly real food, quality ingredients and no ultra-processing, not only that you can also get the good feels of supporting a small business rather than the fat cat supermarkets. What's not to love? ☺️

It's quite early in the season but I've already found ticks on dogs coming in for grooming, just a quick reminder to check your dogs after their walks, and to consider treating them for ticks, especially if they like to play in the long grass.
