Meet Alfie 🐾

We worked on recall and impulse control with no major distractions present, focusing on clarity, timing, and consistency.

Even in simple setups, these foundations matter — getting repetition right in easier environments helps build reliability when things get more challenging later on 💪

Next week we add some distractions and continue working on that reliable recall!

Meet Poppy 🐾

Poppy is a 9-month-old little dog with a BIG voice! Her owner contacted me for help with barking, toileting, and some defensive behaviour around carers.

What’s important to remember is that behaviour is communication. Dogs aren’t “naughty” for no reason — there is always something underneath the behaviour.

What is Puppy Club?
Puppy Club is a fun, structured outdoor training course designed to give your puppy the best start in life. We focus on building calm, confident, well-behaved dogs through positive, practical training you can use every day.

What we cover:
• Socialisation done properly (calm, controlled interactions)
• Focus and engagement around distractions
• Loose lead walking foundations
• Recall (coming back when called)
• Sit, down, and settle
• Confidence building & exposure to new environments
• Preventing common problem behaviours (jumping, biting, barking)

You’ll also learn:
How to understand your puppy, build a strong bond, and set clear boundaries—so you can enjoy a calmer, happier dog at home and out on walks.

Ready to take your dog’s training beyond the basics?

This isn’t just another “sit and stay” class. Our IMDT Partnership Grade 1 is designed to build real-life skills that actually matter day to day—while keeping things fun, engaging, and rewarding for both you and your dog.

Think better focus, reliable recall, calmer behaviour around distractions… and a dog you’re genuinely proud to take anywhere.

Over 4 weeks, you’ll work on:
✔ Loose lead walking without the pulling
✔ Recall around distractions
✔ Wait/stay with duration and distance
✔ Calm, stress-free handling (perfect for vets & grooming)

This course is ideal for dogs 6 months+ and perfect if you’ve done a bit of training but want to level things up properly.

🎓 This is just the start—IMDT Grades progress through multiple levels, giving you a clear path to keep improving.
