I get asked on the occasion if I know of any older dogs available, well today the answer is yes. I know of 2. One is a spaniel and the other a larger breed (30kg+) please message for more details as every home will no doubt be vetted.

No dog has ever died from missing a walk, but many have died from heatstroke!
During these hot temperatures as much as I can keep your dogs fairly cool with aircon, i can't dry a wet clean dog with driers I COULD cause your dog to get heatstroke, not forgetting the massive heat changes and journey to and from my salon, many days i have NOT been able to stand bare foot outside!!.
So I am sorry to my afternoon appointments but when the temperature is over 26° I will be closing at 12.30pm everyday this week but I will be opening earlier so if your dog is booked in after this time please contact me via text or WhatsApp URGENTLY to rearrange.

Been having a few issues with Facebook recently, not only uploading images of my lovely clients but receiving messages too!! Please hang in there, WhatsApp or text is always the best ways of getting hold of me but remember this time of year is "Show season" and if it gets too hot I will not put dogs through the heat changes in the afternoons.

🚫🦟 Unwanted Visitors Alert! 🐾
As much as we love having your gorgeous pups in the salon, there’s one type of guest we don’t allow through the door… fleas!

These tiny hitchhikers can jump on even the most well-cared-for dogs, especially as the weather warms up. It’s absolutely not a reflection on you as an owner, they’re just opportunists looking for their next fluffy ride!

Now here’s the practical bit — this is more of a me problem than a you problem.

Because I run a one-to-one salon and see multiple dogs through the week, I have to be on it when it comes to anything that can spread.
One flea can turn into a full-blown party I didn’t agree to host. And trust me, no one wants that.

If you can, have a quick check over your dog before their appointment. I’ll always do my own check when they arrive too that’s just part of how I work.
