🐾💙 Babies to Isabelle... 💙🐾

Before anyone comments on the mess... blame the kittens! 😹

This little gang are now at that age where they're everywhere at once. One minute the blankets are tidy, the next they're upside down, toys are scattered everywhere, and four little faces are looking innocent. 🤣❤️

Their personalities are really starting to shine through now, and they're keeping poor Isabelle on her toes. She's been an amazing mum to her babies and has done a fantastic job raising them. 🥹🐾

This Friday, Isabelle will be heading to the vets to be spayed, marking the end of her mummy duties. 💕 She has more than earned some time to relax and enjoy being looked after herself.

For now though, she's still keeping a watchful eye on her little troublemakers... even if they are making housekeeping impossible! 😸

Yesterday, our beautiful Ella became a proud mummy to three gorgeous babies! 💕🥹

After all the waiting, the little ones finally made their arrival and Ella is doing an amazing job caring for them. She's being a wonderful, attentive mum, and all three kittens are feeding well and settling in nicely. 🍼🐱🐱🐱

Just look at this precious little family! 😍

Please remember that Ella and her babies will now have plenty of time to grow, thrive, and enjoy life together before any future plans are made. For now, it's all about milk, cuddles, naps, and lots of love. ❤️

Yesterday was Phoebe's big day, and what a bittersweet moment it was. ❤️

After raising her beautiful babies and being the most loving, affectionate mum, Phoebe has now started the next chapter of her life with the most amazing family I could ever have wished for her. 🏡✨

From the moment she arrived at Yorkshire Rose Cat Rescue, she has been an absolute sweetheart, and seeing her finally get the happy ending she deserves makes all the hard work worthwhile. 🥹💕

Thank you to her wonderful new family for opening your hearts and home to this special girl. I know she is going to be loved, spoiled, and cherished every single day. ❤️

💔🐾 EMERGENCY APPEAL FOR HONEY 🐾💔

This morning our little Honey was rushed to the vets after becoming very unwell.

Honey is just 8 weeks old and over the last 24 hours she has gone from being a happy little kitten to being lethargic, refusing food, vomiting and developing very pale gums. She has now been admitted to Vets4Pets Barnsley for urgent investigations, blood tests, intravenous fluids and an ultrasound scan.

At the moment we don't have all the answers, but the vets are extremely concerned and the estimated costs are currently between £1,400 and £1,600.

As a small independent rescue, unexpected emergency bills of this size are devastating. We will always do everything we can for the cats and kittens in our care, but we desperately need your help.

If you would like to contribute towards Honey's treatment, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us and could help give this little girl the chance she deserves. ❤️

🌹🐾 Still no sign of any babies! 🐾🌹

This beautiful mum-to-be is certainly keeping us on our toes! 😹

She's eating well, relaxing in her cosy space, enjoying her catnip toys, and making herself completely at home... but still no kittens yet. 💕

We'll let her take things at her own pace and keep a close eye on her. For now, it's lots of fuss, good food, and plenty of rest while we wait for the big day. 🥰

🌹🐾 HAPPY ADOPTION DAY, LUCY! 🐾🌹

Today is a very special day for Yorkshire Rose Cat Rescue. ❤️

Lucy was the very first mum cat to come into the rescue on 4th April, arriving with 3 kittens and needing somewhere safe to raise her babies.

What makes this adoption even more special is that Lucy's adopters, Tracy and her neighbour, are the reason she came into rescue in the first place.

Before Lucy arrived with me, they had been feeding her and keeping an eye on her, not realising she was pregnant or that she didn't belong to anyone. Once it became clear that Lucy needed help, they made sure she got it.

From that day on, Tracy has supported Lucy and her babies every step of the way. She donated food when she could, helped support the rescue, followed their journey closely and always said that once Lucy had finished raising her babies, she wanted to give her the forever home she deserved.

Well, today that promise became reality. ❤️

After being a wonderful mum and raising her kittens, Lucy can finally put her paws up and enjoy a life where she is the one being spoilt, loved and cherished.

There really couldn't be a more perfect ending to Lucy's story. The people who first cared enough to help her are now the people giving her a forever home.

And the story isn't quite over yet... Lucy's babies, Iris, Hugo and Rocco, are growing up fast and are getting closer to that magical 1kg mark for their first vaccinations. It won't be long before they're ready to start looking for their own forever homes too. 🥰🐾

Thank you, Tracy, for everything you've done for Lucy, her babies and Yorkshire Rose Cat Rescue. I know Lucy is going to be loved beyond measure. 🥰

🌹🐾 Little Vet Update 🐾🌹

After a few days of upset tummies and some worrying weights, Isabelle's babies had a trip to the vets yesterday,

The good news is that all four kittens were bright, alert and had no temperatures. ❤️ The vet couldn't find anything obvious causing concern, but as they do have diarrhoea, they've been started on a course of antibiotics.

Now it's a case of lots of monitoring, plenty of food, and hopefully seeing those weights start moving in the right direction again. 🐾

Please keep Finlay, Bonnie, Kiki and Buttons in your thoughts while we get them feeling 100% again. ❤️

I honestly wasn't expecting this... but Phoebe has received 14 adoption applications already! 😲❤️

When this beautiful girl arrived with her babies, all she wanted was food, love and somewhere safe to call home. Now she has 14 families hoping to offer her the forever home she deserves. 🥹

Thank you so much to every single person who has taken the time to apply. It means the world to see so many people choosing rescue and wanting to give cats like Phoebe a second chance. ❤️

I'll now be working my way through the applications and home checks. Please remember that applications are carefully considered to ensure each cat is matched with the most suitable home, so submitting an application doesn't automatically reserve a cat.

Whatever happens, one thing is certain... Phoebe has well and truly stolen everyone's hearts! 🥰
