🌞 WEATHER UPDATE 🌞

With the weather for this week looking to be a scorcher, we’re changing our opening hours to beat the heat! The salon will be open 8-13.30 Tuesday, and 7.30-12.30 Wednesday and Thursday

We will try our best to go ahead with every appointment this week but if the salon becomes too hot, we may have to rearrange appointments as dog welfare comes before all else 🐶 please be mindful bringing your pet(s) to their appointment this week by driving rather than walking, utilising air con during your drive, and carrying your dogs where possible to avoid tootsies on hot tarmac 🐾

If you would like to rearrange your appointment in advance please let us know!

🐛 FLEA & TICK SEASON 🐛

It’s officially flea & tick season 😬 we’ve already seen several dogs arrive with fleas or ticks, and with this heatwave, things are only going to get worse! So we’re here with some tips and tricks to help avoid any creepy crawly infestations:

🧄 garlic - organic garlic can be added to your dog’s food twice weekly, at 1/2 clove per 10kg body weight
🌱 supplements - supplements, such as Billy No Mates, which contain fenugreek and/or neem
🫧 shampoo/perfume - any flea shampoo and/or perfume, such as Peanut & Pickle flea defence, which contain citronella, neem, and/or eucalyptus*
🐟 diatomaceous earth - can be sprinkled onto your dog’s coat and soft furnishings/bedding to dry out and kill fleas & ticks*

*We stock a range of parasite preventative products, including shampoos, perfumes, and diatomaceous earth, and offer a flea add on treatment for grooms! Message us for further details 🐶
