It’s been a busy weekend for rover and I, but we are proud to say that we have passed the human ID tracking course.
This weekend the assessments didn’t quite go our way and we still have work to do to earn our handler certificates. So watch this space! 😁
What an awesome learning opportunity this course has been. This weekend consolidated our learning and I was so proud of how rover and I worked as a team, my boy gave everything I asked for and more, sadly some small handler errors and some environmental distractions were our downfall come assesssmnt time, but it has also provided us with more learning opportunities that will help us in the future.

Massive congratulations to my course mates Sam and Tina for smashing the assessments! Well done guys 😁

Massive thanks to KathrynTrailing K9s and DeeCanine Nose Skills for all the hard work that went into running this course and assessment weekend.

I’ve loved being a part of this course, the learning, the collaborations and the total change in my training mentality are just some of the major highlights of the last few months.

This course has been the hardest course I’ve ever done, but equally the most rewarding. Huge shout out to my course mates for making this such an enjoyable experience!

ASSESSMENT WEEKEND!😳

So the training is done, homework (nearly written up) and travel and tent set up for the weekend.
This weekend is the culmination of the human scent ID course. Whatever happens over the next 3 days I couldn’t be more proud of my boy and all the work we have put in since starting in September.
This course has been one of the hardest and yet most enjoyable that we have done together. Thanks to Trailing K9s and Canine Nose Skills for organising it.

Best of luck to all our course mates. See you all tomorrow 😄

I will be busy with rover all weekend so any messages will be dealt with on Monday when we are back. See you all soon.

Venues. If a venue is not specified it will be decided up to 24hours before the start time. 5 sessions have been allocated to parc Menai for those not wanting to travel. This month will be the last chance to get to other places before they get to busy for summer so we will try to get out and about as much as possible to push on with the teams progressions.

All sessions are £25 per team.

All sessions are progression sessions @£25 per team. Please note the changes to the cancellation policy in the previous post.

Any venue that is marked as TBC will be decided 24hrs prior to the session. Venue choice will be based on teams booked on and the weather forecast. These sessions are ideal for any teams wanting to expand their progression in a different environment. These sessions will not be suitable for human reactive dogs.

Bookings will be taken tonight between 8-9pm and spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Any spaces remaining after 9pm will be allocated Saturday (11th) morning according to the message sent time.

Waiting lists for sessions will be available. Please message to let me you you would like a waiting list place and for which sessions.
