Very sorry to have to cancel all my walks today, unfortunately, my car has decided its time was up and has completely broken down. The clutch, gearbox and the sensor has gone 🫠 I’ve been having such a rubbish month and to top it off this happens, but a reminder to yourself a bad day or week or even month doesn’t mean a bad life!

Some absolutely lovely people helped me and we managed to get it from blocking the entrance, I did have a good few people giving me a lot of grief… name calling, swearing, honking horns at me it was awful ! 😞 some people can be so so horrible!

A lovely lady and her young daughter allowed me to put my car on her drive until I get someone to tow it later on, she even offered to drive me and Storm (I was driving back from Hutton after taking Storm for a walk) back home. How kind?! Storm also made sure to say his thanks by giving lots of sloppy kisses to her and her daughter 😅🤣

Unfortunately, a mechanic next door looked at my car and plugged it in and the clutch, gearbox and the sensor have all completely gone, not what I needed and I’ve decided with it being such an old car it is not worth spending all that money on it. So I’ll be getting it scrapped and I’ll have to see what happens from there. As soon as I know what’s going on I’ll let everyone know. Thank you for your understanding 😊

Me and Dante have been in training for a marathon lately 🤣🐾 Two weeks ago we managed a total of 12 hours of walking across 3 days, we definitely love getting our steps in!

Then on Friday, because of the heat, we swapped our walk for a lovely hour-long home visit instead ☀️ No walkies, just a gentle wander around the garden, a little game of tug, and some treat-hiding fun to keep him entertained while staying cool 💛

With the weather being so hot last week and this week, we’ve paused walks and focused on home visits instead. Your dogs safety and welfare always come first with me 💛

It’s all about keeping your pups cool, comfortable, and happy during the heat ☀️🐶
