Loughwood Ltd are a leading supplier of creosote treated fencing timber throughout the U.K and Ireland. We are the U.K and Ireland's sole importer of Octoposts, the only fencing post with a 25 year guarantee. We also supply post and rail fencing primarily for equestrian applications along with custom made ranch style gates. All of our products are manufactured to the highest quality from Swedish r

edwood which is kiln dried and pressure treated with creosote. All our timber is sourced from carefully managed forests in Sweden, which have been inspected and certified to ensure their sustainability. We also sell products that are made to last for decades to ensure that the trees we use are put to the best possible use, and only the minimum amount are felled. The creosoted timber used in all our products is unpalatable to livestock, including horses, which reduces the risk of your new fence being chewed upon. We are approved to supply farm fencing under the NSAI’s specification 436:2007. NSAI inspectors have visited our forests in Sweden to confirm that our products meet the agreed standards for the type of timber, size and diameter of the wood, timber preservatives and method of pre-treatment drying used. Stephen attended a number of open days at stockists' yards throughout the year. Showcasing the Octoposts and speaking to the end user regarding the benefits of the post. We already have some booked in for 2026. If you are having an open day give us a shout and we would love to attend and support our Octoposts stockists.

September saw us heading to Tullamore for the annual National Ploughing Championships. Our Swedish partners love to travel over for this year and this year certainly didn't disappoint, we enjoyed the best weather for a number of years.
