It is with a heavy heart that we share some sad news.
Our much-loved Family Zoo will be closing on Friday, 10th October 2025.
As many of you may have heard in the news, we are not the only business facing these difficult times. Unfortunately, it has become financially unviable for us to continue operating.
When we opened our gates 17 years ago, we could never have imagined the wonderful journey ahead the thousands of amazing visitors, school trips, and loyal members who became part of our zoo family. We are so proud of the wide variety of animals we’ve cared for over the years, each one holding a special place in our hearts (we know many of you have your favourites too!).
Please rest assured that all of our animals will be rehomed safely and responsibly, in full compliance with animal welfare rules and procedures.
We also want to take this moment to thank our incredible staff and volunteers, past and present, who have worked tirelessly with love, dedication, and passion to care for our animals and welcome our visitors. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.
If you hold a membership with us, we will happily offer a refund for any remaining months. Please see our website for all the details on how to do this.
