Safe journey down to Devon Mirren.
Such a sweetheart. Loaded like a pro. First time in a box. Off to a great home to friends who had one of ours before and kept her all her life to the grand old age of 26 years.

Another piece of history! Replacing some of the rosettes on the wall again and looked on the back. Most of the judges written on the back. Sadly quite a few are no longer with us. These were in the days of huge classes too.

Kitchen was repainted last week so everything off the walls!
This hunting crop was needing cleaned and you can see the inscription is EJK14/12/21.
It belonged to the Late Ella Kirk of Kaimknowe Farm Glendevon and was given to me by her niece Lorna Hepburn.
I first met Ella or Tella as she was affectionately called some 66 years ago!
Hunthall was her stud prefix.
I was desperate for a pony and wrote to all the pony societies one of which was the Highland Pony Society. They told us about Tella and we arranged to go and visit her. I was in my element viewing loads of Highland ponies and the stallion Pharic of Hunthall who was the sire of my first Highland Pony ……Drumloist Jock. He was bred my Tella’s cousin Mrs Margaret Barr in Callander. Loads of memories……..All good.
