Ziggy has served his post neutering time and has been bonded with Emily and Pumpkin. He's delighted to have company as hes been on his own since Christmas eve, well hes had me for cuddles but thats hardly the same! He's the happiest poppiest wee pig ever! and Emily and Pumpkin are pretty impressed with his moves 🤩🥰 love a happy ending x

Everyone meet Ziggy!
Ziggy was an emergency surrender on Christmas eve..His humans had to make the very hard decision to rehome him after being sold 3 boys ! Its unusual for 3 boys to be happy together when they hit the hormonal stage in life! Ziggys family took the advice of where they bought them from so thought it would be ok. I did phone and speak to the manager of the shop to make them aware of the situation and outcome!!
Unfortunately Ziggys humans had to choose which of their very loved boys to part with 😪💔 They contacted me and as hes young and fit we decided he would come here!
Ziggy is getting neutered on Friday and will join The Wheaky Weans Herd as they don't currently have a neutered male.
I have to allow £100 for his vets bill , I can't add it to my own bill this time as paying off a balance and just about to get 7 equines vaccinations!
Ziggy has settled in amazingly hes a very confident boy who loves a snuggle and scratch x
We're raising funds to pay for the operation.

Welcome to the family Emily and Pumpkin. They have settled in amazingly well. Currently my workshop piggies,I'm looking forward to the company in there 🙂

❤️✨️HAY APPEAL ✨️❤️

My usual hay supplier has stopped selling Vale Bale hay and it's by far the best and most economical way for me to feed and bed 40+ piggies!

I can however buy a pallet of 40 bales! I have a couple of folk interested in splitting a pallet with me so I would buy 20 bales which will cost £176 -(£86 still to raise)
I have never done a cash donations only appeal before but its the only way to buy hay !

Toppy Star Guinea Pig Sanctuary and Boarding is a guinea pig sanctuary in Falkland, Fife.
We offer a forever home to guinea pigs in one of our two herds. The Granny Pigs Herd is for older lady guinea pigs who have lost their friends and aren't doing so well on their own. They have the company of lovely Luigi a neutered male. The grannies are all over 4yo, our most recent arrival is Peggy who is 8yo. This Herd is like a care home for piggies!
The Wheaky Weans Herd are our girls who are aged under 4ish. They have come for a variety of reasons their family is moving abroad, a family member is allergic, the family dog has become obsessed with them, the children have lost interest, a new landlord won't allow pets..We don't judge were here to offer help, advice and support.
We currently have over 40 resident piggies..We don't rehome we offer piggies a home for life..Some of our piggies have been in four different homes before settling here.

We rely purely on donations in a variety of forms to give the piggies everything they need.
Hay, nuggets, veggies,
shavings and vet bills are our main expenses. If there's no donations coming in I have to cover the costs myself.

The piggies are all doing well.
Enjoying brambles at the moment of which there are an abundance to forage ❤
We are running however short of nuggets! Twitch are a great price on our Amazon Wishlist and I would love to try the " Mature " nuggets for the granny pigs some of who can be slightly fussy on the nugget front lol 😆 Well at there age you can be fussy and deserve to be spoiled 😀
