Let the Dogs Run

As part of our 5th year anniversary of opening we are upgrading many areas at Let The Dogs Run.

Mutleys Play Park has its own new car park and the first of two upgraded activities has been installed.

We apologize for the length of time it's taking us to complete our upgrade.

Unfortunately, we are restricted at the weekends to only 4 hours on a Saturday morning due to planning conditions.

We do everything ourselves and have to work round work commitments and contracts.

When we get everything completed we know all our customers and their dogs will enjoy our dog park even more.

Our weekly dog lessons with Lyn from The Country Dog Walker and Trainer are available from 14th of August for 5 weeks - Thursday nights at 7.15pm. £100 for 5 weeks or you can pay as you go £25 per session.

DOG TRAINING SESSIONS
Building Good Foundations evening class starting Thursday 14th August at Let the Dogs Run, Auchterarder. (secure paddock).

Teenage dog testing boundaries?
Older companion with some habits to smooth out?
Youngster at the start of their learning journey ?

🐾Positive reinforcement training Methods
🐾Learn the basics in a fun and friendly small group
🐾Learn how to read your dogs body language
🐾Teach your dog to be well mannered amongst other dogs
🐾Build strong, lasting bonds with your dog
🐾Help your dog to 'listen' to you
🐾Teach recall, settle, loose lead walking and have some fun
🐾How to handle distractions

🐕Maximum 6 per class
🐕7.15pm hourly sessions
🐕Suitable for dogs 6 months plus

💥£100 for all 5 evenings or £25 per session pay as you go

Please note - due to the Let the Dogs Run Park policy, excitable, noisy dogs unfortunately cannot attend a group class, (as to not disturb neighbours). One to one training is available.

Puppy classes are available if sufficient interest (under 6 months)

Entries are taken on the day from 1pm, £2 per class.
Judging will start at 3pm in the main ring.
Classes are as follows:
1. Prettiest Bitch
2. The Most Handsome Dog
3. The Best Child Handler
4. Best Double Tail Wag/Shimmy (Dog & Handler)
5. The Best Sit on Command
6. Best Puppy
7. Best Veteran Dog (Over 7 years)
8. The Fastest Sausage Eater
Best in Show - 1st & 2nd from each class qualify. Overall winner receives a cup kindly donated by Nether Braco Boarding

We had a lovely afternoon off yesterday and went to visit Denhead Dog Park, just outside Coupar Angus.

Our two cockers and our home boarders enjoyed the change of scenery and the different sniffs!

Well, that was a rather wet grass cutting session for Daisy and I.

Due to the rain there will be some clumpy grass patches.....we have brushes at each gate for you to clean your shoes.

Unfortunately, we can't do anything about dogs turning green!😂💚🐶
