✨C L I E N T U P D A T E✨

This beautiful little lady is Poppy 🩷 and if you follow me regularly, you'll have seen that I've been working with her wonderful family to help her through some reactive behaviour around other dogs.

When we first met, Poppy struggled to walk past other dogs without barking and lunging (poor girl had previously had a really negative experience with another dog).

Poppy's family have been working really hard to implement all the training and advice I've given them. I received this lovely update yesterday - Poppy sat in the vet waiting room able to relax and disengage from other dogs (even when they were staring at her!!!). I'm BEYOND proud of them all!!! 🥹🥰

✨Client update✨

Ernie has been doing really well with his training and is showing far less reactivity around other dogs 🙌. We have been focusing on building his confidence whilst settling recently and his family have bought him a 'settle mat'. This dude blows me away with how clever he is, look how well he is doing with learning to get on his 'mat'.

I'm beyond proud of them all 🥰.

Calming signals are part of the dog’s natural communication system. They are often overlooked because they appear small or insignificant, yet they play a vital role in preventing escalation to aggression. A head turn, a blink, or even moving slowly can all be ways a dog is saying, “I mean no harm.”
Understanding these signals not only improves safety but also deepens the human–dog bond.

How handsome is this sausage?! 🌭 Ernie and his lovely family have been working with me for a couple of weeks now. We've been tackling his reactivity (around other dogs and people) and I'm so proud of how well he is doing. 😍 His confidence around other dogs has improved thanks to all the hard work his family has been putting in. I'm really looking forward to our future sessions 🙌.
