✨ Story of the Week! ✨
Meet Stanley, the bravest little domestic short‑hair kitty 🐾 who visited our Ashton branch back in May after a serious road traffic accident 🚗💔.
Despite his injuries, Stanley showed incredible spirit from the moment he arrived. After careful assessment, our vet Ceibhionn determined that the best option for his comfort and long‑term quality of life was a full hind‑leg amputation. While that sounds daunting, cats are remarkably resilient - and Stanley proved that in every way 💪🐱.
The procedure involved removing the damaged limb, carefully closing the surgical site, and ensuring he woke up safely and comfortably from anaesthesia. Thanks to modern surgical techniques and the skill of our team, the operation went smoothly, and Stanley was already purring by the next morning 💛.
His recovery has been nothing short of inspiring. With plenty of rest, pain relief, and TLC from both our team and his loving family, Stanley quickly adapted to life on three legs. Cats are natural acrobats, and he’s already back to climbing, exploring, and showing off his new “tripod” confidence 🐈⬛✨.
