It's our 'quiet time' although we don't feel like it's that quiet with lots of exciting projects being finalised 💪🏼.
It's the time of year ☀️ when the younger horses take priority, educating them slowly, calmly and correctly is essential. Working at their pace. Chris and Freya are amazing at this part of the job 👌🏼.
Here is a lovely video of Pete from his first time under saddle ridden in the school, to hacking around the roads and finally visiting the grass gallops 🏇🏼.
He is a lovely stamp of a horse by Dartmouth who stands at Shade Oak Stud with wonderful owners who are very much enjoying being a part of his journey.

Time To Bite has started the 2026/27 season with a bang . Winning a 30k handicap chase at Fakenham in tenacious style under another well judged ride from Bryan Carver . 12 hour round trip from Devon definitely worth while.

Rasher as we know him is like a fine wine 🍷🥂 he is continuing to mature with age. 😊 11 years young and winning off 123 . 10 wins in under 3 years starting on a mark of 79 when a 34 raced maiden.🤷‍♂️ and lets not forget he nearly died back in November from colic.

Her owners have given her time and she has rewarded them by showing that she is smart mare with an exciting furure ahead of her. She is quite a character on the yard and we think the 🌎 of her.
