Play time is an important part of the Gabby K9s residential training program🐾
Training isn’t just about obedience, but also about building confidence, engagement, and a healthy relationship with the dogs in my care. Structured play helps create balance, allows dogs to decompress, and strengthens the bond throughout the training process.

Mr. Paddington settling into residential training beautifully already 🐾

This little man is here at Gabby K9s working on structure, boundaries and basic obedience foundations. We’ll be focusing on building calmness, engagement, confidence and good manners both around the house and out in real-life environments.
Looking forward to seeing his progress over the next couple of weeks 💛

Ever thought about what actually makes a “correction” unfair? 🤷‍♀️

It’s not about being strict or soft, but I think, it’s about whether it even makes sense to the one receiving it.

A correction starts to feel unfair when:
• They don’t really know what they did wrong
• The rules keep changing
• There’s no clear way to get it right

At the end of the day, fairness is pretty simple:
👉 clear expectations
👉 consistency
👉 a real chance to succeed

If those things are missing, it’s not a learning moment… it’s just confusing.
