🐕♥️Kobe♥️🐕

Kobe's owner contact me for help with her Untrainable (her words lol)dog. Kobe never settles down, never switches off, pulls like a freight train, and has selective hearing 😂

Our 1st training session and Kobe and his family smashed it‼️👌👋

They left the session with alot more optimism than what they came with, they all have work to do with Kobe but they now have the techniques to continue Kobe's training, and they now know exactly what he is capable of doing👌🐕

♥️🐕Meet the very handsome♥️ very excitable♥️ very strong 💪 Rory ♥️🐕

As you can see from the video, Rory is a massive puller, he doesn't care that he is choking himself😔

Rory has learned that to get from A to B he needs to be pulling, because that has always got him to where he wants to be 😣

At the end of the session Rory is walking by his owners sides with NO Pulling‼️

Do not be fooled though, I am not claiming that Rory is fixed and can now walk everywhere and anywhere like this because he won't, not yet!!

I worked on a lot with Rory before we even went out to try walking him, and I talked and explained everything to Rory's owners on how they need to work with Rory everyday showing him exactly what it is they want from him, by communicating with him in the way that he understands 🙌😊

Breaking everything down so we set him up for Success rather than Failure, and also to teach him the behaviours that get him what he wants 😊 and the behaviours that have consequence‼️

Consequences are not about physically hurting Rory, they can be with holding what he wants like food, play, praise or attention and affection, as well as lead pressure to help guide him into better choices ♥️

And that's what it comes down to, Rory learning how to make better choices because once he chooses to do behaviours that we want he understands exactly what gets him rewards😊♥️

So his owners now have to put in the work to progress Rory's training, they now have the tools and techniques to do this with him, and it will be so rewarding for them and Rory as he continues to learn🐕♥️

Video is before and at the end of his training session♥️🐕

Do you need help with your dog or puppy with any issues just get in touch♥️🐕👌

‼️Exposure🐑👫🐕

Exposure for dogs" refers to safely introducing them to various sights, sounds, surfaces, people, and situations to build confidence and prevent fear, especially crucial during puppyhood (3-14 weeks), but important throughout their lives for well-adjusted behavior, contrasting with simple playdates by focusing on diverse sensory input and controlled, positive experiences. It helps them cope with novelty, learn appropriate reactions, and remain calm in real-world environments, preventing reactivity and fear-based issues later on🐕🐑

Exposure to Traffic🚦🚗🚛

Impulse control is important in dogs because it makes them safer, better-behaved, and less stressed in a variety of situations.

It helps dogs resist their immediate urges, such as chasing a squirrel, barking at the doorbell, or pulling on a leash, allowing them to pause and make a more conscious, appropriate decision instead of reacting instantly.🐿️🐦‍⬛

This leads to better interactions with other dogs and people, and makes daily life more manageable for both the dog and its owner. ♥️🐶👌
