🐴 Help us to deliver Carmarthenshire’s Equestrian Access Strategy

We are looking for horse riders, carriage drivers, horse owners and those involved in the equestrian community to join our new Equestrian User Group to help us deliver Carmarthenshire’s Equestrian Access Strategy.

We want to hear from members of the equestrian community who would like to act as spokespeople for the access needs and aspirations of equestrians in their area, helping us to develop a more accessible, better-connected network for equestrian use.

E-mail [email protected] to express interest in joining the User Group.

The Carmarthenshire Equestrian Access Strategy was approved 29th September 2025 and sets an action plan to improve equestrian access across the county over the next 10 years. Read more –https://www.carmarthenshire.gov.wales/media/d3ufirqz/equi-strategy-eng.pdf

Good morning everyone, as we all know what's going on in the world, things are going to get tough! Due to the war happening, prices increases are hard to avoid at this time, as we already can see by our energy suppliers and fuel cost rise, it is completely out of my control, and some things have to go up. This is unfortunate and just want u to all know, I will only put price changes into effect once old stock has gone, and only on items that have had a price increase.
I'm really sorry, please understand and not take it out on myself or my staff, I am a small independent business, not a big chain like most feed stores. I hope to keep on serving u all at good competitive prices.
Many thanks
Tanya (owner) 😁

URGENT PRODUCT RECALL – ALL CUSTOMER PLEASE CHECK YOUR FAST FIBER BAGS......

Allen & Page Fast Fibre
Batch no 15/01/26 / best before 05/05/26

Dear Stockist/Merchant,

As part of our continued investigation, for further reassurance we would like to include batch no 15/01/26 best before date 05/05/26 of Allen & Page Fast Fibre. This is in addition to batch no 14/01/26 with a best before date of 04/05/26.

We are recalling these batches of Fast Fibre because of an ingredient issue which has led to reports of a darker colour feed together with a sticky consistency. While we conduct further tests, we have decided to recall these batches only for the safety of your customer's equines despite not all bags being affected.

Please be reassured that these Fast Fibre batches do not have any NOPS issues, are not a doping/clean sport issue and are not toxic in any way.

We are advising customers NOT to feed Fast Fibre from these batches, as it may be out of specification and also for your customer's additional reassurance. Please dispose of bags only from these batches:

14/01/26 with a best before date of 04/05/26
15/01/26 with a best before date of 05/05/26
If your customer has tipped the bag into their feed bin and have not retained the label, and the bag(s) were purchased after the 16/01/26, please ensure you encourage them to check the consistency and colour of the feed when soaked and if they have any concerns please advise them not to feed.

If your customer has fed their horse and suspects that the Fast Fibre was from either of the above batches, and they have any concerns please direct them to contact us.

No other Allen & Page products or other batches of Fast Fibre are affected.

We communicated this information to all stockists and customers at the earliest possible opportunity. We recognise that this may cause inconvenience and concern for horse owners, and we appreciate the patience and cooperation of those affected.
