All this week, Diamonds In The Ruff Pet Spa will be supporting Joseph’s’ Smiles with the Go Green Campaign.
The charity is aiming to raise £10k for children with special requirements and care!
So we are joining in, going green and giving our clients green bows too 💚
Anyone wanting a green bow for their pooch (which will be perfect for the Joseph’s Brynaman parkrun this weekend) just pop in and make a donation!

My son and I entered Salon Groomer of the Year Spring Fling and we were very lucky to place!
🥇 place in Fushion Supers class with adorable Teddy, the black Toy Poodle.

🥇 place in Cross Breed Supers class with the handsome Ollie, the Cockerpoo.

🥈 place in Showtime show trim class with my princess Elsa, the Standard Poodle. 🐩

🥈 place in Hand strip class with the beautiful little Beti, the Jack Russel terrier!

🏆 I was publicly voted as Most Inspirational groomer of 2025 😭❤️😍
A huge thank you to those who felt I was deserving, I cried and am so humbled 🥰

🏆 Grayson, my little 6 year old son, got a special mention and was young groomer of the show with his groom and dye job of Magic, our Alaskan Klee Kai! Well done Grayson ❤️

A massive thank you to the SGOTY team and amazing judges for my placings! It’s an absolute honour for you to look over my work and help me grow further in my skills! 🤞

🐾Meet your groomer! 😀
I’m Jordan and I’m the founder and owner of Diamonds In The Ruff!
I’m a mum of a 4 year old and 6 year old and have 6 doggies of my own!
Plus lots of other weird animals at home 🐻

I opened the salon just over 3 years ago.
Before this, I worked many years a registered Operating dept Practitioner, mainly working in surgery at Morriston hospital!
During Covid, I made the decision that I needed to go back to working with animals again alike when I was a veterinary nurse many years ago. But as I had been classed as disabled and dealing with chronic illness, deciding working for myself was the best option. Hence why I retrained into grooming and eventually opened the salon! 🫶

Since I opened the salon, I have been fortunate to have won a number of awards and nominated for many more.
I like to compete at grooming competitions where I have had a good number of wins in various classes 🥇 .
I also show my standard poodle, Elsa, at champion shows around the country including Crufts. 🐩

On my down time, I can be found with my kiddos, and hubby, usually visiting theme parks! 😬

I am a 1 to 1 groomer, with no cages as we have a gated system meaning dogs are allowed to roam or if they need their own space, they can be separated by a gate from other dogs.
I have trained up the fabulously talented Lacey, who at 18 runs her own grooming business and keeps her business also at my salon. ❤️

My special interests are poodles, Asian fusion styles, dog health and skin care and working with owners that have anxious dogs to settle into the grooming process. 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩

I want to use this opportunity to thank my fabulous clients past and present for supporting my small business! ❤️

I will also be away from the 6th (minus the one dog I have in that day) to the 7th due to Crufts.
