Hot weather notice

During hot weather Parkside Stables adjusts its operations to prioritize horse and rider welfare.
We will frequently shift or reduce outdoor lesson time slots, swap to theory-based horse care and welfare lessons, or operate slightly differently.

Yard Policies for Summer Footwear Rules: Absolutely NO soft shoes or open-toed footwear are permitted anywhere near the horses or on the yard. You must wear proper riding boots or sturdy, closed-toe shoes regardless of the temperature.

Sun & Heat Protection: Make sure to dress in thin, breathable fabrics, and wear sunscreen. Keep hydrated (bring a drink bottle)
Changes to Sessions: If you have an upcoming ride, expect the instructors to replace intense physical work (like trotting and cantering) with lighter activities or informative care and welfare sessions.

No Dogs Allowed: Leave your pets at home; customers are kindly asked not to bring dogs onto the premises.

Thursday Pony Day
We had great fun today in the sun ☀️
Riding and trying to learn our light seat on horses then bathing our ponies this afternoon to help keep them cool in the heat.

On Tuesday we had some of our pony club girls do their C and C+ examination. The girls did a great job and all passed! Huge well done to the girls and a big thank you to our external examiner Amelia!

We are looking forward to welcoming home Brandon and the horses who are traveling back from the international showjumping tour in Spain.

We are all very proud of Brandon and both horses who have achieved fantastic results. Well done and well deserved. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Rocco Fella jumped consistent clears in the 1* Bronze 1.10 & 1.20

Roxy Ella had multiple top 10s, top 6 finishes in 1* Bronze 1.10 & 1.20
