📣 IMPORTANT INFORMATION – SCOTLAND’S HORSEMANSHIP LIVE

We’re now just under a week away from our sold-out Scotland’s Horsemanship LIVE at Ingliston Estate & Country Club on Wednesday 2nd September! 🐴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

With a full house joining us, please have a read through the important information below before Wednesday.

🚗 PARKING
Parking is available on site.

🕠 ARRIVAL
Guests are welcome to arrive from 5.25pm.

The demonstrations will begin at 6.00pm PROMPT, so please allow plenty of time to park and make your way to the arena.

🎟️ ENTRY & TICKETS
We are not issuing physical tickets. Your booking confirmation is your confirmation that your places are secured, and names will be checked against our booking list on arrival.

Where possible, we ask that everyone included within the same booking arrives together and approaches the arena for entry together. This will help us get everyone seated as smoothly and quickly as possible.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE – THIS EVENT IS COMPLETELY SOLD OUT

If you do not already have a confirmed booking, please do not travel to the venue.

There will be NO tickets or additional seats available to purchase on the door, and unfortunately we cannot accommodate additional guests who are not included within an existing booking.

📧 TICKET-HOLDER EMAILS
Full event information is being emailed directly to all booking holders from today and throughout the weekend.

Due to the number of bookings, these emails are being sent in batches, so please don't worry if yours doesn't arrive immediately. Please also check your junk/spam folder.

🥤 REFRESHMENTS
Refreshments will be available to purchase at the venue during the evening.

🐴 AFTER THE DEMONSTRATIONS
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and meet some of our riders and horses at the end of the evening, including international stunt rider and horse trainer Georgia Plimbley, who will be hosting the event.

We have a fantastic evening of horsemanship planned, bringing together a huge variety of disciplines, training approaches and talented horse-and-rider partnerships.

🐴 MEET THE DEMONSTRATORS: CAROL & BLONDIE - Working Equitation

Carol Rogerson is a passionate horsewoman from Dumfries & Galloway whose partnership with her palomino mare, Blondie, has led them to explore an wonderfully varied range of equestrian disciplines.

Together, Carol and Blondie enjoy Working Equitation, side saddle and horseback archery, with Blondie proving herself a willing and versatile partner whatever they turn their hooves to.

At Scotland’s Horsemanship LIVE, Carol will be sharing two of the disciplines they enjoy together — Working Equitation and side saddle — giving audiences a glimpse into the different skills, challenges and traditions behind each.

For Carol and Blondie, it’s less about specialising in one discipline and more about having a go, learning together and building a confident, trusting partnership along the way - while having plenty of fun doing it!

🐎 ROAD TO BRIDLELESS - A FULL DAY CLINIC

Have you watched bridleless riding and thought… “I’d absolutely love to do that with my horse - but there’s no way I’m just taking the bridle off.”

Good! Because that isn’t how we’re going to do it.

Following the incredible interest surrounding bridleless riding recently, we're launching 'Road to Bridleless' - a full-day clinic designed for ordinary horse and rider combinations who want to learn the steps towards bridleless riding.

You do NOT need to be ready to take your bridle off. In fact, we'll begin with it firmly ON.

Throughout the day, we'll work progressively on:

🐴 Introducing and understanding the neck rope
🐴 Developing steering, stopping and transitions without relying on the reins
🐴 Improving communication through your seat, body and voice
🐴 Gradually transferring your aids from bridle to neck rope
🐴 Recognising when you and your horse are ready to progress
🐴 Building confidence without sacrificing safety

The aim of the day isn't to have everyone riding around without a bridle by 4pm. It's to send you home understanding exactly what your next steps are, how to practise them safely, and how to continue your own road towards riding bridleless.

And if some partnerships progress further than others? That's absolutely fine. There is no pressure whatsoever to remove the bridle. Success looks like leaving with a clearer, lighter way of communicating with your horse - and knowing what to work on next.

Led by Georgia Plimbley - professional bridleless rider, international equestrian performer & experienced coach.

🚨 PLEASE BE AWARE OF TICKET SCAMMERS - Scotland's Horsemanship LIVE 🚨

Well… apparently selling out also attracts the scammers! 🙃

We’ve had a sudden flood of accounts commenting that they have 3 or 4 tickets to sell, usually because of a mysterious last-minute “work trip”, “family emergency” or “change of plans”.

These are scam accounts and they have NOT purchased tickets to Scotland’s Horsemanship LIVE.

Please do not send money or personal details to anyone offering tickets in the comments or via DM.

We’re deleting and blocking these accounts as quickly as we can, but unfortunately new ones keep appearing.

If genuine ticket holders ever need to pass tickets on, please be extremely cautious and verify them before making any payment.

Thank you - and we’re very sorry to anyone whose excitement at finding “4 spare tickets” has just been brutally crushed 😂🐴❤️

We’re delighted to announce that Destria will be returning to the Scottish Smallholding & Countryside Festival for 2026 🎉 .scot 🐴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Following an incredible reception last year, we’ll be back in the Main Ring with TWO demonstrations... bringing equestrian performance, horsemanship and a little bit of movie magic to the Festival.
