Myself and Axel PDC Obedience routine 🐕 58.5 out of 65.
Where do I think we lost points?
• Axel anticipated the down after the figure of 8. He had been either not going into the down or popping up out the down the month leading up to the trial. So I had been correcting him to get the behaviour. So I lost points as he wasn’t commanded to do the behaviour.
• Watching the video back he was bumpy in the left turn round the cone in the fig 8.
• I was told he flinched at the first gunshot
• He was forging/crabbing heavily prior to the down in motion & the down in motion was slow.
• He jumped into/bumped into me in the recall to heel at the end.
I thought I’d share my assessment so my fellow Scottish competitors can go achieve a higher score next trial season Scotland 🏴 🇺🇸
Overall I’m really happy with our OB routine, I really enjoyed the whole experience!
