🎉 Happy 70th Birthday to the legendary John Whitaker! 🎉

Today we celebrate one of the greatest names in British Showjumping. With a career spanning decades, countless major titles, and iconic partnerships – including the unforgettable Milton – John has inspired generations and continues to be a true ambassador for the sport.

From Olympic appearances to Grand Prix victories around the world, his contribution to British Showjumping is immeasurable.

Wishing you a fantastic birthday, John – and thank you for everything you’ve done for the sport! 🎂🇬🇧🐴

Light Horse Classes - Show Off Your Star of the Stable!

From elegant in-hand classes to polished ridden performances and the thrills of working hunter - our Light Horse Section is a must for equine enthusiasts of all levels.

Whether you've got a plaited pony who loves to strut their stuff, or a trusty cob who shines under saddle or a bold jumper ready to tackle our rustic working hunter course - there's a class for you.

It's a brilliant day out for rider, handlers and spectators alike, with rosettes, trophies and plenty of pride up for grabs. So give your horse (and yourself) a bit of the spotlight - we can't wait to welcome you to the ring!

🌟STARS Champion of Champions 🌟

It’s getting close to that time of year when we are starting to look for those competitors we can invite to compete at STARS

We already have a few riders who cannot be beaten in their class and we will be contacting them over the next few days with details of which classes at STARS they have qualified for

If you are in the top three placings in your class please make sure we have full details of your horse/pony’s breeding, height and age

We have decided to try something a bit different for our September Championship Show

Rather than a Championship for each ring we are going to split it down and have 8 Mini Championships

These will be as follows and will be for the two highest placed members in each class

Children’s Jumping Classes 9-12
Workers Classes 13-17
Ridden Equitation Classes 18-23
Ridden Classes 24-32
Children’s Inhand Classes 33-37
Children’s Ridden 38-43
Inhand Classes 44-48
Inhand Classes 49-54

Each Championship will be held after the last qualifying class

We will then hold an online public vote for the Peoples Choice Champion

September is also our Sash Show where all placed riders 1st to 4th place (6th in the children’s ring) will receive a sash as well as a rosette

We also have goody bags for the highest placed members in each class

Each Mini Championships will receive a printed Lottie Christian Photographyur show photographer who for September is Lottie Christian Photography
Each Mini Reserve will receive a free digital picture of their choice

Entries are now open for purchase September Show as are ticket sales for our Presentation Night on November 8th
