Cosnac - Correze
Club des Amis du Colley.
Vanmorgen ging om kwart over 5 de wekker en om 6 uur zaten we in de auto op weg naar Cosnac in de Correze waar een Regionale show werdt georganiseerd door Club des Amis du Colley.
2 jaar geleden waren we ook hier geweest met Nimue. En we hebben toen die dag enorm genoten van de sfeer op de tentoonstelling, maar het genieten begon al onderweg erheen. Prachtige vergezichten onderweg en mooie dorpjes. Ja we houden van dit mooie land, de natuur en de calmte ❤️
Ook dit jaar wilde we weer graag inschrijven. En ondanks dat voor ons het hoogseizoen is gestart van onze gîte was de mogelijkheid er, we hadden geen wisseldagen voor de gîte in het weekend.
Ik had Nimue, Didi en toch ook maar weer eens Vianne ingeschreven. Nimue en Didi zouden uit vacht gaan maar ik hoopte dat ze nog even zouden wachten. Maar helaas.........
En ik weet het, ook honden uit vacht die goed gebouwd zijn zou je gewoon moeten kunnen showen. Maar op een speciale van de collie club wil je toch je hond in zijn beste conditie voorbrengen. Dus we gingen heen met het idee dat we een gezellige dag wilden hebben met lieve mensen die hard werken om deze dag te organiseren ( complimenten voor de organisatie en de vrijwilligers !!!) En mensen die van het ras houden.
Het was voor Didi haar eerste tentoonstelling. We hebben thuis hard getraind, maar een showtraining zoals we in Nederland deden hebben we hier niet. Dus oefenen op staan en aanraken moesten we zelf doen. Maar dat is goed gegaan. 1 jaar oud en in de Jeugdclass. Didi werd 1 Uitmuntend en behaalde haar eerste Jeugdpunt.
Vianne kwam uit in de Openclasse. We hadden getraind op haar blijestaart 😉 Marko had daar een goede training voor. Frustrerend dat ik daar in Nederland heel wat lessen zonder resultaat aan heb besteed LOL Zij werdt 1 Uitmuntend in de Openclasse.
Daarna was Nimue die voor het eerst uitkwam in de Kampioensclass. Nimue deed zoals altijd haar best. Zij werdt ondanks dat ze uit vacht was 1 Uitmuntend en ik was blij verrast.
Daarna moesten we opnieuw terug komen voor de Beste Jeugd en Beste van het Ras. En toen hadden we handen te kort....... Frederique Jochum was bereid met Didi te lopen ❤️ En zij werdt met Didi Beste Jeugdhond. We willen Frederique heel erg bedanken voor de hulp en het lopen van Didi ❤️
Marko Schipper liep met Vianne en ik met Nimue.
Nimue werdt BESTE VAN HET RAS ( BOB) en daarna BEST IN SHOW( BIS)
We zaten ( en nog steeds) een beetje op een roze wolk 😉 Nooit verwacht en dan maakt een dag die al mooi was extra bijzonder.
Nog bijzonder omdat Nimue 2 jaar terug op deze zelfde regionale tentoonstelling ook BIS werdt.
We zijn nu aan het nagenieten, een rij throphees mee naar huis waarvan de grootste gesponsord is door Colleys Duvillageaunoir hier uit de Berry !! En we zijn vereerd dat we hem mee terug hebben mogen nemen naar de Berry ❤️
Wij willen iedereen die deze tentoonstelling mogelijk heeft gemaakt weer bedanken voor een gezellige mooie dag met een fijne atmosfeer in een mooie regio. En we willen de keurmeester Dominique Lagrollet heel erg bedanken voor de waardering en keuring van onze drie dames ❤️

This morning the alarm went off at a quarter past 5, and at 6 o'clock we were in the car on our way to Cosnac in the Correze, where a Regional show was being organized by Club des Amis du Colley.
Two years ago we had also been here with Nimue. And we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at the exhibition that day, but the enjoyment started on the way there. Beautiful vistas along the way and lovely villages. Yes, we love this beautiful country, the nature, and the tranquility ❤️
We really wanted to enter again this year. And even though the high season for our gîte has started for us, the opportunity was there; we didn't have changeover days for the gîte on the weekend.
I had entered Nimue, Didi, and Vianne again, after all. Nimue and Didi were supposed to go out of coat, but I hoped they would wait a little longer. But unfortunately.........
And I know, you should be able to show well-built dogs out of coat too. But at a special Collie Club event, you want to present your dog in its best condition. So we went with the idea that we wanted to have a nice day with lovely people who work hard to organize this day (compliments to the organizers and the volunteers!!!) and people who love the breed.
It was Didi's first show. We trained hard at home, but we don't have show training here like we did in the Netherlands. So we had to practice standing and being touched ourselves. But that went well. 1 year old and in the Junior Class. Didi was awarded 1 Excellent and earned her first Junior Point.
Vianne competed in the Open Class. We had trained on her happy tail 😉 Marko had a good training for that. It is frustrating that I spent quite a few lessons on that in the Netherlands without any results LOL She was awarded 1 Excellent in the Open Class.
Next up was Nimue, who competed for the first time in the Champion Class. Nimue did her best as always. Despite being out of coat, she was awarded 1 Excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised.
After that, we had to come back again for Best Junior and Best of Breed. And then we were short of hands....... Frederique Jochum was willing to walk Didi ❤️ And she became Best Junior Dog with Didi. We want to thank Frederique very much for the help and for walking Didi ❤️
Marko Schipper walked Vianne and I walked Nimue.
Nimue became BEST OF BREED (BOB) and then BEST IN SHOW (BIS).
We were (and still are) a bit on cloud nine 😉 Never expected it, and that makes a day that was already beautiful extra special.
Even more special because Nimue also became BIS at this same regional show 2 years ago.
We are now enjoying the afterglow, taking home a row of trophies, the largest of which was sponsored by Colleys Duvillageaunoir here from the Berry!! And we are honored that we were allowed to take him back to the Berry ❤️
We would like to thank everyone who made this show possible once again for a lovely, enjoyable day with a great atmosphere in a beautiful region. And we would like to thank judge Dominique Lagrollet very much for the appreciation and judging of our three ladies ❤️

Club des Amis du Colley.
Ce matin, le réveil a sonné à 5h15 et à 6h, nous étions en voiture, direction Cosnac en Corrèze, où le Club des Amis du Colley organisait une exposition régionale.
Il y a deux ans, nous étions déjà venus avec Nimue. Nous avions adoré l'ambiance de l'exposition ce jour-là, mais le plaisir avait commencé dès le trajet. De magnifiques paysages et de charmants villages jalonnaient la route. Oui, nous aimons cette belle région, sa nature et sa tranquillité ❤️
Nous souhaitions vraiment participer à nouveau cette année. Et même si la haute saison de notre gîte a commencé, l'occasion s'est présentée : nous n'avions pas de jours d'arrivée/départ pour le gîte ce week-end-là.
J'avais inscrit Nimue, Didi et Vianne, après tout. Nimue et Didi devaient participer à l'exposition canine sans leur pelage d'origine, mais j'espérais qu'elles attendraient encore un peu. Malheureusement…
Je sais bien qu'on peut présenter des chiens bien bâtis même sans leur pelage. Mais lors d'un événement spécial du Collie Club, on souhaite présenter son chien sous son meilleur jour. Nous sommes donc partis avec l'idée de passer une belle journée avec des personnes formidables qui travaillent dur pour organiser cet événement (bravo aux organisateurs et aux bénévoles !) et des passionnés de la race.
C'était la première exposition canine de Didi. Nous l'avons beaucoup entraînée à la maison, mais nous n'avons pas de formation spécifique aux expositions canines comme aux Pays-Bas. Nous avons donc dû nous entraîner nous-mêmes à rester immobiles et à nous laisser toucher. Mais cela s'est bien passé. Didi avait un an et concourait en classe Junior. Elle a obtenu la mention Excellent et son premier point Junior.
Vianne a concouru en classe Ouverte. Nous avions travaillé sur sa queue toujours prête 😉 Marko avait reçu un bon entraînement pour cela. C'est frustrant d'avoir passé autant de leçons aux Pays-Bas sans résultat ! 😂 Elle a obtenu la mention Excellent en classe ouverte.
Ensuite, c'était au tour de Nimue, qui concourait pour la première fois en classe championne. Nimue a donné le meilleur d'elle-même, comme toujours. Malgré sa mue, elle a obtenu la mention Excellent, à ma grande surprise.
Après cela, nous sommes revenus pour les concours de Meilleur Junior et Meilleur de Race. Et là, il nous manquait de monde… Frédérique Jochum a bien voulu promener Didi ❤️ Et elle est devenue Meilleur Junior avec Didi. Un grand merci à Frédérique pour son aide et pour avoir promené Didi ❤️

Nimue est devenue Meilleure de Race (BOB) puis Meilleur de l'Exposition (BIS).
Nous étions (et sommes encore) aux anges 😉 On ne s'y attendait pas, et cela a rendu cette journée déjà magnifique encore plus spéciale.
Ce fut d'autant plus spécial que Nimue avait déjà remporté le titre de Meilleur de l'Exposition (BIS) lors de cette même exposition régionale il y a deux ans.
Nous savourons aujourd'hui cette victoire, forts de nos nombreux trophées, dont le plus imposant nous a été offert par Colleys Duvillageaunoir, ici même à Berry ! Quel honneur d'avoir pu le ramener à Berry ! ❤️
