Our adorable Millie (AAR2822) will now be spending her Christmas with her foster carer but will need a new foster home by the end of January. She is also available for adoption.
Millie had an awful life pre rescue. Pretty much ignored by her owner to the point where he didn't even give her a name. She was left to wander the campo, no protection from fleas or ticks, no care and no love.
She has been with her foster now for about a month and is proving to be a wonderful dog who is growing to love home comforts and enjoys all the things she has been missing out on.
Millie will be best suited to a campo property with secure outside space. She enjoys playing with her fosters own dog so if there is already a dog in the home this would be a bonus for her.
She has now started her vaccinations and is neutered she is also fine with cats.

This young girl is in urgent need of a foster home from 16th December. Must have secure outside space. She has had a miserable life so far and we need to change this for her so she can have the life all dogs deserve,

We are delighted to share the great news that Domingo is Reserved for Adoption to a home here in the Axarquia region.

Domingo was found as a stray in September in an appalling condition, emaciated, abused and very weak. His finder fosters have worked with local vets to get him on the path to better health and we're sure you have followed his progress with his diaries - lots of socialisation, good food and getting to understand what a loving home life looks like.

Domingo will be going to his forever home after the Christmas break and will be joined by furry friends of another dog and a cat, bringing lots of happiness to his new Mum and Dad.

Well done Domingo - we are so proud of you, happy new life ahead!

We have been asked to help with a mum and 6 pups, found in a river bed. A big ask, but is anyone able to offer the family a foster home to keep them safe until after 8 January. We don't allow adoptions over the Christmas period, and the pups are too young to be split at the moment. Finder estimates they are a month to 6 weeks old. Willow AAR2780 is very happy to share with all our AAR members her fabulous news for this end of 2025!
After a hard few months since she was rescued by AAR and fostered by our lovely fosters and cared for by the team of vets at Mivet during her illness, Willow has now landed so well on her own 4 paws and she found her fabulous home with her new family here in Axarquia.
She sends her love and thanks to everyone who donated towards her medical care and got her to recover from her illness.

Can you help Oscar?
Oscar needs a forever or foster home, he's been waiting in kennels for 18 months after being abandoned following a family breakdown. He is used to home life and is getting a bit chilly in kennels.
Oscar is 8 years old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated and negative to Mediteranean diseases. He is an American Bull Terrier mix - such a handsome boy.
For Oscar, ball is life, there's nothing he loves more than running after a ball and playing fetch. He is a little shy at first but takes less than an hour to be your friend.

Nancy is still looking for a forever or a foster home. She has been in kennels for more than 18 months - it's no place for a girl who is used to home life, especially as the days are getting colder.
Nancy is an 8 year old Staffie cross, vaccinated, neutered and clear of Meditteranean diseases.
Nancy is very friendly with humans and dogs, her fur is super silky and soft, such a pretty cuddle bug.

Look how far Domingo has come in the 9 weeks he has been in foster. Form a scared, underweight, abused dog, to a happy dog who loves everyone he meets.
