DAY SITS BOOKED 🥰

Good morning Fairydogmother family 🐶

Can we believe we are in June already and what a busy summer we have coming up with overnight sits here in spain and the UK too, dog walks in the early mornings and daysits too ☺️

I have just come back from a trip to visit my best friend in Amsterdam, we had a lot of fun, plenty of laughing and a great time sightseeing too 🇳🇱

I have some availability for some daysits for next week:
Monday 8th June
Wednesday 10th June
Thursday 11th June

Let me know if you would like a day out or two whilst your dog has the best time being cared for in their own home by me 🤩

2027 diary is filling up but please get in contact to book in for your overnight sits and day sits for next year. I do get booked up in advance so as soon as you know your dates then book in your dogs with their Fairydogmother 😘

Good afternoon Fairydogmother family 🐾

I hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather and being sensible in the sunshine ☀️

Here are my top tips for keeping your dog cool qnd safe in the higher temperatures:

- Walking early and late, testing the ground temperature with the back of your hand for 5-7 seconds (if you cannot handle it, the dogs paws will definitely get burnt and damaged). Shorten walking times. ⏰

- Cool fresh water available in more than one bowl if there are multiple dogs in the house and ice cubes to the water on super hot days. 💧

- Provide shaded area in the garden if possible. 🕶️

- Groom appropriately, brush out excess fur and NEVER shave a double coated dog breed as their fur can help insulate them from the heat. ✂️

- Paw balm to protect the paws from becoming dried out and then cracked paws 🐾

- Fans or air conditioning if possible as it helped with cooling down and airflow in the room 💨

- Preventing heat exhaustion and heat stroke in younger, older, short nosed breeds such as pugs and bulldogs, thicker coated breeds and overweight dogs is so important, these dogs are at higher risk.

- A damp cool towel or cooling mat can provide comfort on really hot days too and even a frozen carrot might be a nice treat 🧊

Stay safe, vigilant and sensible and if it’s too hot for you to go outside and exercise, it definitely is for your dog with fur on too 🥵

Good morning Fairydogmother family 🐶

Most of the time my work is full of happiness, joy and love 🥰 but then as a dogsitter and dogwalker, there are sad times too when one of my dogs has to go over the rainbow bridge 🌈

More than a week ago, Harvey, our loveable, handsome, kind and gentle soul had to have help crossing the rainbow bridge where he was reunited with his sister kessie and brother Barney 😢

His owners did all they could for him and he had one last holiday just a month ago where he was running on the beach and enjoying the waves with his sister Rosie where he transformed into a puppy again despite being an older gentleman ☺️

I will miss you forever boy and the pack are missing you so much too 🥰

Good morning Fairydogmother family 🐾

I am back home in Spain after visiting the UK to see family and friends. I now have a beautiful niece too and she is amazing 🤩

We were fully booked for this year but we have some availability through a cancellation. The dates are from:
Friday 5th June (late evening)- Monday 8th June 📆

Contact me as soon as possible if you would like to book a last minute trip away and you would like me to look after the dogs like they are my own in your own house 🏡

We also have half daysit and pop in visits availability depending on location, also please remember as the heat is creeping up in temperature that my walks will be getting earlier. I will message individual clients about timings too 🥰

Please always walk in the early morning before the sun has heated the pavements, after sunset, always supply fresh cool water for your pups, shady spots, don’t let them overdo it out on walks especially the shorter nosed breeds, the older dogs and those of poor health in the first place ☀️

🐾 Fairydogmother 2027 Diary is Now Open! 🐾

Good afternoon Fairydogmother family 🐶

I just wanted to let you all know that my 2027 diary is now officially open for bookings. 💖 If you already have dates in mind, I’d really recommend getting in touch early to avoid disappointment, as spaces do fill up quickly 📆

I also want to be transparent and let you know that there will be a small increase in prices for 2027. With the continued rise in the cost of living, this adjustment is necessary to ensure I can keep providing the same high standard of care that your dogs deserve. I haven’t increased my prices since 2025, so this has been carefully considered.☺️

As always, my focus remains on giving your dogs the very best—whether that’s plenty of love, attention, enrichment, or tailored care to suit their individual needs. Your pets are treated like family with me, and I’m committed to maintaining the quality, reliability, and trust that Fairydogmother is known for 🥰

Good morning Fairydogmother family 🐾

It has been a busy time for me in my personal life recently. I’m back home in Spain for a week right now and then back to the UK for the arrival of my first niece or nephew and I am so excited to become an auntie 👶🏼

2026 calendar is fully booked as most of you are super organised. 2027 calendar is opening soon once I’ve added my own holiday dates 📆

If you have travelled around Spain with your own dog, could you send me ideas of where, tips and tricks please ☺️ me and Bennie deserve a little holiday together too 🥰
