May 2025 was quite a straightforward drive up through Spain and France to Calais. One older Lady, a GSD was delivered to her new home and wonderful family in France and one extra traveller took her place aboard the van.
Once on UK soil the route was announced and included deliveries in Southend, Taunton and Glasgow and loads of places in-between, before we headed South and back to Spain.
Here are some photos of the 16 dogs and 3 cats that travelled with us. Some are abandoned dogs and cats that have found forever homes thanks to their hard working rescues and some private pets being reunited with their owners.

01/05/2025

April 2025:- Diversions, cancellations, brakes and Power cuts.
April 2025 saw ProPaws taking a very roundabout route through France with collections and deliveries in the East and West of France delaying our arrival at Calais by around 6 hours. Upon arrival we found out our ferry had been cancelled! Eventually arriving in the UK well behind schedule we informed the patiently awaiting adopters and owners of our final route and set about the task of getting the dogs home.
Minutes after our last delivery was completed our rear brake caliper decided to seize on a Sunday in Surrey. We found an emergency mechanic and after yet another delay we were once again on our way. Our final collection done we headed to Calais and crossed to France only to discover that the whole of Spain and Portugal was blacked out. Armed with some cash and a lot of crossed fingers, but very limited comms we managed to find petrol stations with generators and finally made it home just as the power came back on.
Eventful to say the least but we got the job done!

Our May trip leaving Spain 🇪🇸 on the 29th is taking us to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and always France 🇫🇷

March 2025 was a quite straightforward trip with collections in Spain and France and deliveries in the UK spread between Devon and Scotland and everywhere in-between. We also collected several dogs for holidays and permanent relocations to Spain. Aside from one day of horrendous rain the weather and roads were kind to us and we were back in record time.

🐈‍⬛😽🐈 We want our cats to travel as comfortably as possible. You can choose to pack their favourite bed, seat pad, cardboard box or use our soft blankets. Or they can choose neither and scream in the drivers' ears for the whole journey 😄 Whatever makes them feel good! 🐾
