🧺 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀 – 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲! 🧺

Our four tiny survivors were found 𝗱𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗻, barely a week old.
Unfortunately, one of them was just too sick and didn’t make it 💔
But the remaining four — 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 — are growing stronger every day thanks to the 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝘂𝗺, 𝗞𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶.

In 15 days time they will go for their first vaccines and are already beginning to be weaned on to wet food.

🚨 𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 – 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗚𝗦 🚨

After years of rescuing and fostering dogs in our own homes, we’re taking a 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 for Elysium Animal Rescue.

𝗞𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶, our incredible rescue partner, has taken in more dogs than any of us—turning her home into a lifeline for so many abandoned souls. But now, her landlord has decided to sell the house… and that means she has no choice but to move. 💔

She can’t take all the dogs with her.

But out of this crisis comes a powerful opportunity.
We’ve been offered a chance to rent a block of 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀 at a private boarding shelter—𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 that will be ours alone to use.

🏡 A small haven.
🐾 Just for our rescues.
💛 Cared for daily by Kiveli, who will be moving nearby to continue loving and looking after them.

But we can’t do it without your help.

Great news to be able to share!

We were worried that she would be the last one left behind after all her brothers and sisters had found their new homes. But Wispa is on her way to the UK next month, and one step closer to her forever family. 🥳❤️

I won’t be able to make it to the animal rights protest in Limassol tomorrow — but I really wanted to be there.

Even though I now live in Paphos, I lived in Limassol for 7 years and still see it as home. Molos has always been one of my favourite places, and I’d planned to be there tomorrow to join the protest.

Unfortunately, I’ve been unwell these last couple of weeks and still not well enough to attend.

So I’m sharing this post to show my support — and to ask anyone in or near Limassol who can go, to please turn up and be counted.

The protest is about the ongoing lack of enforcement of animal welfare laws in Cyprus. It’s peaceful, it’s organised, and it’s the first of a series happening monthly across different cities.

If you’re planning to go, let me know — I’d really appreciate knowing some friends will be there. Hopefully I’ll be well enough to join one of the next protests coming up.

🥺 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 – 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗳𝘁 🍫

6 of her siblings are already home.
𝗦𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗞𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵.
Only Wispa is left in foster. 💔

We never imagined she’d be the last one. She’s sweet as they come, with big, beautiful dark eyes that melt your heart the moment they lock on yours. 🥹

She’s not shy about love either – 𝘀𝗵𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀.
And honestly? She knows how to get it. 💋

But don’t let her gentle nature fool you – this girl’s an adventurer. She was the first of the litter to climb onto the roof of the doghouse, where she now sits like a queen, watching the world go by. 🌍🐾

And now, that world is changing.
Her siblings are going home.
And unless we find 𝗵𝗲𝗿 a home too, she’ll be left behind.

She doesn’t deserve that. Not when she’s this loving. This loyal. This ready.

From Cyprus streets to UK sofas — Leo, Pippin, Mary Puppins, Twix, Bueno & Crunchie have landed and settled straight into their new lives!

🐾 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 ✈️🐾

Today is a huge day for all of us at Elysium – and for six of our much-loved, beautiful dogs. After months (and in some cases, 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦) of waiting, 𝗟𝗲𝗼, 𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻, and four of the chocolate pups – 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝘀, 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝘅, 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗼 & 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 – are boarding a flight in the early hours and starting their journey to the UK 🏡🇬🇧

Waiting for them are the most 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀.

This is a 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 for us – it’s the 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁! As a small, foster-based rescue, this gives us real 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 and for all the other dogs still patiently waiting to find the love they deserve 💛

It’s taken time, teamwork and so much support behind the scenes to get here.

Yesterday, Jade boarded her flight to the UK and finally began the life she’s always deserved. 💛When she was rescued back in January, she’d been hit by a truck and was dragging her back legs through a dusty yard.X-rays showed her pelvis was shattered. Her leg broken in two places. She was just 3.5kg and couldn’t even toilet on her own.But Jade fought hard.She survived major surgery, healed slowly in foster care, and learned to trust again.And now… she’s home.Safe. Walking. Loved.Watch her journey from rescue to recovery — and now, to freedom.She made it. 💫

Bueno and Crunchie have both been reserved for adoption and—pending successful home checks—will be flying off to their forever homes in the UK next month!
