Today is a very special day!

In the early hours of this morning, Bandit boarded his Freedom Flight for the first leg of his journey to his new home in the UK. Bandit (who will now be called Herbie) has an amazing new family waiting for him who can’t wait to meet him!

And to make it even more special, yesterday we received confirmation that Bandit/Herbie’s brother Smokey, has received a successful application and is now RESERVED! He will be making his way to his new home in the UK next month! 🥳

Thank you so much to the amazing team at JCDR jcdr1156 for their help and support in finding homes for these two brothers. Massive thanks to Joanne Kane Pays jo_kane_pays who has been an amazing foster mum to the gorgeous boys for the last few months!

And as always thank you to all of you who follow us and support us in rescuing, treating, and caring for rescues like Smokey & Bandit. With your help another 2 sad Cyprus souls have a wonderful second chance at life ahead of them! 🥰😍🥳✈️

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.

After just a few months of recovery in foster with us she blossomed in to a wonderful girl who was quickly spotted by an amazing family who welcomed her in to her new forever home in the UK.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘀𝗵𝗲’𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘆, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 — 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Her family tell us that life with Maisie is pure fun — she zooms along the beach with joyful abandon, barks at seagulls like she’s managing the shoreline, greets visitors as though they’ve arrived just to meet her, and folds herself into cuddles as if it’s her favourite language. She makes friends easily, plays with confidence, and brings an effortless brightness into their home that they can’t imagine living without.

Smokey is still waiting patiently. And with his brother heading to his new home next month, soon Smokey will be left on his own😢
