This is why I love trick training 🐾💛

It teaches me so much about my dogs — how they learn, how they think and how I can communicate more clearly with them. It’s one of the best relationship builders I know.

Yesterday I wondered what Lulu would do with a long board. About 7 seconds later, she was already offering the basics of skateboarding 😄🛹

That’s not luck. That’s years of foundation skills, confidence, problem-solving and a dog who loves to learn.

What a fantastic Retrieve Workshop! 🎾🐾

One of my favourite things about this workshop was seeing each team discover which games truly clicked for their dog. There is no one-size-fits-all retrieve. Every dog is motivated by different things, and once we find the right game, the magic starts to happen.

We worked on building desire, confidence, speed, commitment, and most importantly, having fun together. By the end of the session, we saw some brilliant retrieves, happy returns, and dogs genuinely excited to bring things back to their humans.

Seeing those lightbulb moments and watching the teams celebrate their successes made us all super-duper happy. ❤️

Play. No pressure. Just building passionate retrieves, one game at a time.

Another puppy outing, another step towards becoming confident little companions 🐾💛

We practised disengaging from other dogs, focusing on our humans, settling in the environment and making calm choices around distractions.

The progress these teams have made is wonderful to see. More confidence, more connection and more trust with every outing ✨🐶

Another Body & Mind class in the bag 🐾✨

Moving, thinking, searching and exploring new challenges along the way. Everyone got to use their body, their brain and their nose — the perfect recipe for a happy, fulfilled dog 💛🐶

Our Beginner Scent and Next Level Scent classes are fully on and we are having an absolute blast 🐾✨

Sniffing, searching, problem-solving and watching these dogs grow in confidence and skill is just the best feeling 💛🐶
Happy noses, busy brains and so many proud moments already!

Summer fun = smart management ☀️🐕

We all love the sunshine, but our dogs need us to make good decisions for them during hot weather.

Shorter walks, cooling breaks, enrichment indoors, shady sniffaris and plenty of rest can go a very long way 💛

Avoiding hot asphalt and absolutely no hot cars!
Stay cool out there and keep those paws safe 🐶💦

In regard to training, short sessions are the best, nothing strenuous. At the dog school for example, we stay in shade, have the water pools out, do mini sessions with loads of water break and no crazy play. 🙌🏻

Back at the elderly home with 3 wonderful teams today 💛

We stayed mostly inside the cool building to avoid the heat, following trails through corridors, different levels, elevators, and hidden corners to find our elderly volunteers.

It was heartwarming once again to see both new and familiar faces light up when the dogs arrived. There were smiles, cuddles, laughter… and some very happy dogs soaking up all the attention. 🐾

These afternoons are always so special. ❤️

Today’s classes came with an extra challenge… the heat ☀️🐾

So we kept things short, playful and fun, with lots of water breaks in between.
Easy little puzzle games, thinking work and happy dogs enjoying themselves without overdoing it 💛🐶

Summer training mode: work smart, stay cool and have fun ✨
