Again, better late than never (we swear, we'll do better!) - Happy World Veterinary Day to Dr. Kaylee and Dr. Brianna! 🥳👩‍⚕️🦸‍♀️

The 2026 theme of World Veterinary Day is 'Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health'. This theme highlights the systemic role of veterinary services in safeguarding food safety, food security, public health, and animal health worldwide.

We focus on small animal services here at Waggin' Wheelz, so we can't speak directly to all aspect of this years theme but we can say there is a large focus on health for both people and pets! Dr. Kaylee and Dr. Brianna are passionate about creating healthier animal populations and safer communities through animal welfare initiatives, like partnering with local animal rescues and First Nation groups to provide veterinary care, and community programs like our incredibly popular FARM Cat Program!

World Veterinary Day aside, we are so lucky to have these two ladies providing top-notch veterinary care to our pets in Wynyard and the surrounding area! Thank you for all that you do!!😽🐕🐈🐇🐁🐦🐟🌏

Fashionably late as always, but a big shoutout to these ladies for all that they do! Thank you to Jodelle and Kaitlyn for their years of knowledge and dedication to the clinic - Jodelle first joined us in 2021 and Kaitlyn has been here since 2017! 🥳😻

We're also excited to share the news that we've added a wonderful new receptionist to our administrative team - we can't wait to introduce her to the world! Stay tuned for her bio coming soon! 👩‍💻🎉

****OUR SPRING FARM CAT PROGRAM IS NOW FULL!****

Spring FARM Cat registration is now OPEN!😻

Registration will close on Friday, March 27th (or when full - whichever happens first!). Please like and share our post to get the word out to those who may benefit from our FARM (Feral Animal Reduction Movement) Cat Program!

🐈 This program is not open to household pets
🐈 To qualify cats must be healthy, at least 6 months old and not nursing kittens
🐈 A $60 non-refundable deposit is required for each cat registered
🐈 If you have participated in one of our FARM Cat Programs before (or are not local), you will be placed on a waiting list. If there are spots available after registration closes, we will contact you.
