Lumps and bumps on pets can spark some wild theories (no, your cat isn’t turning into an alien 👽). But while many growths are harmless, some can be more serious.

Since pets can’t tell us what’s up, we rely on the signs:
🔍 Watch for changes in size, shape, colour, or texture.
🩺 Some bumps may be benign lipomas or cysts, while others might require a biopsy to rule out cancer or infection.

💡 Pro tip: Not all growths are bad, but the only way to know for sure is to check.

When in doubt, get it checked out. Your Vet’s got your back AND your pet’s bumps.

Happy first day of Fall!
I don't know about you, but I am definitely looking forward to sweater weather! Crisp air and fall scents are the best 🍂🍁

Hey everyone, this is Coconut and he came in to see us for his first visit. His parents just got him recently and Dr. Booth said he did so good for his exam. Doesn't he look so comfy having a lazy day in bed 🛏 🥰
Bunnies also need yearly exams just like our cats and dogs, to ensure they are in good health.

IT'S LABOUR DAY!!
Woot woot!! Everyone loves a long weekend and the best way to enjoy it, is spending time with your pets. How are you spending your day with your pets? Whether you're relaxing at home or out and about, we'd love to see photos in the comments 📸 I personally try to get outdoors and go camping with my guys. Scout here absolutely loves it 🌲⛺

Don't forget that if your time does involve camping or a visit to the cabin, prevention is key to protecting them from some of those nasty parasites that like to hitch a ride.

Did you know that we have a subscription to AllyDVM which gives you access to Pet Page?
Pet Page is an app that allows you access to information about your pet. You can request appointments, monitor prescriptions and verify your pets vaccine status. Reminders will also pop up if you have services that may be coming due. All you have to do, is ensure your email is up to date in our system and download the app. Once downloaded, sign up on the home page, follow the prompts and then you should be connected.

Meet Hanan our groomer! With over 20 years of experience, Hanan is an amazing part of our team and is one of the sweetest people I know. And I'm not the only one to notice as many of our grooming patients including Bailey here, can attest that she has a special touch. On top of her scheduled grooms, Hanan always tries to say hi to her patients when they are in for their check-ups and I was lucky enough to snag a pic with Bailey and her together. Show her all the love she shows them, by hearting this post 🥰

We do only accept grooming patients who are clients of Brack, and there may be a wait as she is one busy lady😆

Ever wish your pet could enjoy the same summer treats that we do? 🛑 Our advice is to skip the human desserts and check out these cool pet-friendly treat ideas we've compiled. The best part? You don't have to be a pro to whip these up.

If you have a pet with food sensitivities, soak their food in water until its mushy and freeze the mush. This still creates a nice treat but avoids too much water that may make the treat too hard.

Remember to supervise your pet when they're trying new foods and to avoid anything with xylitol ( a sugar substitute which can be deadly), or added sugars. Make sure to share these chilly treats in moderation.
