🌟RVT spotlight🌟

This week is all about our AMAZING registered veterinary technicians and today we are giving a HUGE shoutout to Celine!!!

From monitoring anesthesia, to running bloodwork, to taking x-rays, there is nothing Celine can’t do. Celine is a vital part of our team. Her dedication to providing the very best care to every single patient, her skills, and her big heart for animals, make a difference every single day. We are so grateful for the hard work she puts into ensuring everyone’s furry friends are healthy and happy ❤️

When Celine isn’t working her butt off, you can find her doing one of her many craft hobbies or spending time with her dog, Sully.

Thank you for everything you do, Celine. We would be lost without you 🐾💗

🌟RVT spotlight🌟

We are shining a well deserved spot light on Denise, our amazing practice manager and registered veterinary technician, as part of RVT week!

With over 30 years experience in veterinary care, Denise has been part of the practice since 2017 bringing her expertise, leadership and unwavering passion to everything she does. Not only does she provide exceptional care to our patients, but she’s also a mentor and role model for our entire team. Her kindness and dedication to both staff and patients, truly make our practice a better place.

When she’s not managing the clinic, you can find her caring for her dogs, cats, chickens, goats and horses (a true animal lover)!! 🐥

Thank you for everything you do, Denise! 💕🐾

Happy National Registered Veterinary Technician week 🩺🐾

October 12th-18th is the week we get to celebrate the heartbeat of the hospital. We couldn’t be more grateful for our incredible RVTs.

They’re the ones monitoring your pets anesthesia, drawing blood, taking x-rays, placing IV catheters, calming nervous pets and ensuring that each and everyday runs smoothly.

Stay tuned to learn a little bit more about our wonderful RVTs, Denise, Celine, and Agnes 🐶

Thanksgiving hours 🦃

🍂Saturday October 11th: open 8-2pm

🍂Sunday October 12th: CLOSED

🍂Monday October 13th: CLOSED

Reminder that many human foods can be dangerous for dogs, especially turkey, where bones can splinter. This can cause internal damage and a trip to the emergency hospital!
And keep candy, especially chocolate and sugar free candy with xylitol, far out of reach from all furry friends!

🦇Rabies Awareness: protect your pets and your family!

There has been positive cases of rabies in the area, this is an informational post to keep you and your pets safe.

September is also Rabies Awareness Month — and it's a great time to make sure your pets are up to date on their rabies vaccines!

💉 Rabies is 100% preventable — but it's also 100% fatal once symptoms appear.

✅ vaccinating your pets keeps them safe AND helps prevent the spread to people and wildlife.

❎DO NOT handle wildlife: call animal control if you suspect an animal is ill or showing signs of rabies

Rabies vaccine is required BY LAW in Ontario!

Let’s work together to keep our community rabies free 🐾
