In this weird and wild world, it takes someone special to follow their heart no matter the risk. Someone with a passion so deep that following it was the only option. Someone who is so committed that they risk their life daily on that path.
Many of us who work to serve animals feel this way, though I’m not sure there’s anyone who embodied it more than Jesse Adams of Raincoast Rescue. His courage, perseverance, and commitment to following his passion for the love and rescue of animals took him to dark and scary places both at home and abroad. He carried animals out of despair near home, and in war torn places such as Afghanistan, and in recent years the Ukraine. This week Jesse gave his life during his front line rescue mission carrying animals to safety there.
Jesse, thank you for leading a life of passion, following the compass of your heart, living by example, and carrying all the animals in your arms of love to safer places. May you be held with that same love through your journey to the great beyond… I’m sure there is a grand welcome for you on the other side of the rainbow bridge🌈🐾…our love is with you too. Rest peacefully dear soul.
