I personally have found that as long as your group gets along well you can have many more fit around a feeder or bale.

Does the weather like rain or snow not still blow in on the hay?
What have you found to be the best option a feeder that is open with a roof much larger than the feeder or an enclosed feeder similar to a hay hut?
