Think those dandelions are just weeds? 🌼 They’re actually the first spring buffet for BC’s hungry bees after a long winter.
This World Bee Day (May 20), we’re celebrating the wildflowers that keep our pollinators—and our honey—thriving. BC is home to over 450 native bee species, and they’re counting on those “messy” patches in your yard.
Ready to join the movement? 🐝
✅ Skip mowing (at least through May)
✅ Let wildflowers bloom
✅ Create pollinator islands in your yard
✅ Plant BC natives
Your small yard = big difference for our bees. New blog post breaks down exactly why this matters (link in bio 👆)
