More Small-Dog Daycares Are Opening -- And Honestly, It Makes Sense.

Big dogs aren't bad dogs.

Small dogs aren't bad dogs.

But a 90-pound dog and a 29-pound dog don't always play the same way.

A playful bump from a large dog can accidentally injure a tiny dog. And let's be honest...some little dogs have absolutely no problem testing the patience of dogs ten times their size.

That's why we're seeing more daycare facilities create dedicated spaces and playgroups for smaller dogs.

Not every dog belongs in the same playground. And that's okay.

It was supposed to be a normal walk. Same street. Same routine. Same peaceful evening.

Then a dog came running at us. No leash. No warning.

And in seconds...everything changed.

My dog survived...but she wasn't the same after. And honestly? Neither was I.

Now every walk is scanning driveways. Every corner is anxiety. Every "he's friendly!" makes my stomach drop.

Because once you've watched your dog get attacked...you realize how fast life can change.

It only takes ONE irresponsible owner to change your dog forever.
