The key to training reliable recall is starting them young, consistency, biothane long-leads, high value treats (whether that's in the form of food or whatever motivates them the most), not setting them up for failure, and other dogs with amazing recall that can show them the way 😂

Long-leads are one of our favourite training tools (especially biothane ones).

We don't let the dogs that we're with fully off-leash unless we trust them to come back EVERY SINGLE TIME that they're called.

Long-leads still give the dogs the freedom of running around, but just have that extra security of being able to step on the lead and catch them if you need to.

They're also great for the cheeky dogs that like to play "catch me if you can" when it's time to leave - it's very easy to catch them immediately with a long-lead 😉
