Meow Hiring! 😻 Catfe is accepting resumes for a part-time purrista to start in July 2026.
Our staff are known for their super friendly, thoughtful and engaging customer service, and we’re looking for hard-working, positive individuals to join the crew.
• Requirements include at least one to two years of previous cafe, retail and cashier experience, high attention to detail, excellent communication, observational and math skills, a kind and positive demeanor, and the willingness to go the extra mile to make someone’s day special.
• As a cafe with live animals on the premises, this job necessitates maintaining a clean, sanitized and orderly environment at all times.
• Must be able to do physcial labour such as mopping, moving and lifting furniture, squatting and kneeling to clean kennels and litter boxes.
• Must be able to work all types of opening and closing shifts ranging from 4.5 to 8 hours.
• Food Safe certification is an asset.
• Starting wage is $18.50 to $19/h plus tips. Perks include staff discounts and a free drink during your shift; witnessing silly cat antics on a daily basis; making a difference by educating the public about cat care, and helping rescue animals find their furever homes.
