We’re currently booking into mid-September, and while we don’t want to rush the end of August, our Christmas schedule is already starting to fill up! If you’re hoping to book for the holiday season, please consider pre-booking to secure your spot.

PLEASE NOTE : There have been several recent reports of parvovirus in the HRM.

Parvovirus (often referred to simply as parvo) is a highly contagious and deadly virus that affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. It spreads through infected f***s, contaminated surfaces, and can even be carried by human shoes and clothing.

Signs you may see :

- Vomiting, often severe

- Bloody, smelly diarrhea

- Lethargy, weakness, "dull" demeanor

- Loss of appetite

- Fever or the opposite: low body temperature

Puppies and dogs with parvo usually look obviously unwell. This can happen quickly.

So how can you protect your pup?

VACCINATE! Make sure your puppy is up to date on vaccines. If you are unsure, check with your family veterinary team. PUPPIES NEED MORE THAN ONE SET OF VACCINES TO BE PROTECTED.

Avoid places like dog parks or pet stores until your pup is FULLY vaccinated. It can be hard resisting the urge to take your puppy to a dog park...we know! But it's far better to wait until it is safe.

Disinfect surfaces and wash hands well after handling other dogs.

Parvovirus can be a fatal disease.
If you suspect your puppy or dog has parvo, do not delay and seek veterinary care IMMEDIATELY—early treatment can save lives.
