Our Tamrose Black Jimmy WCI X Greylights Spicy Talent Of OakLane WC JH (Gus X Pepper) made their long awaited appearance yesterday.
Pepper and Gus had a beautiful litter of 4 large and very healthy pups. 3 black and 1 yellow. ALL MALE!!
We impoted Gus this past May from Tamrose Labradors in Ireland. I havent had a chance to get him up on our website yet, but he will be there soon Hes been nothing short of amazing
since we pucked him up. We ran 2 working tests with him with in 2 weeks of his arrival wich he passed and earned his WC and WCI, and then he went on to have an amazong season in the field. We are expecting big things from this breeding. Gus and Pepper are both machines in the field, love to train, and are both the easiest going loving dogs when in the house and with the family. These pups will have a it all with very solid pedigree to back them.

Our Hawksgarth Moonshine WCI JH X Queen Amy WC JH (Shine and Dolly) litter is 1 day shy of 2 weeks old. Dolly really is putting everything she has into these 6 black little butter balls before she heads into retirement mode. In the last day or so eyes have started to open and we are starting to hear the odd little bark come from the whelping box. Puppies are also starting to wiggle all over the whelping box to get to mom. These 3 little boys and 3 little girls are thriving, and are the definition of what healthy well cared fo puppies should look like.

Our Hawksgarth Moonshine WCI JH X Queen Amy WC (Shine x Dolly ) pups made their big appearance on November 5. Dolly ended up having 3 black males and 3 black females for her FINAL litter. Puppies are thriving and gaining daily. Dolly is a fantastic mom and is doing amazing.

On Saturday Board and Train Obedience dog Kado the Shiba Inu headed back home to his people.
Kado spent the last 10 weeks with us working on basic obedience ( name recognition, place, stay, wait, loose leash walking, heeling off leash, socializing with other dogs, listening with distractions in the back ground) and a very, very special emphasis on RECALL, and coming into the house from the outside when called, especially in the evening.
Well let me say this cute little fluff ball made me work for everything I got him to do!! We didnā€™t have a day where I went out to work with Kado and thought ā€œOh, today will be easy peasyā€, or ā€œHe knows this stuff, 2 review sessions today, and on to the next thingā€ Nope, not once did he let me have that. I had i make a plan and stick with it with him. No detours. Lol Kado was the definition of repetition, repetition, repetition, no short cuts, and he made me earn everything he gave me, starting with his trust. Once I had that it was full steam 2 steps forward and 1 step back every day with him. When I came to terms with that is how it was going to be I was ok with it. Lol. I never thought Iā€™d say it, but Iā€™m missing the little guy. This little guy humbled me every time i worked with him, and I believe he had made me a better trainer. He sure did teach me patience if anything!
I got word back from his owners today that his first few days at home have been great. Heā€™s an entirely different dog, but his stubborn streak has come out a few times, andthey were able to work through it
We canā€™t wait to hear how he continues on back home. Thank you so much for for trusting us with Kado, Janice!!
On a side note i think mentally i am able to handle one 1 Shiba Inu per year!! Lol

We are patiently waiting for our litter between Hawksgarth Moonshine WCI JH X Queen Amy WC JH (Shine and Dolly) to make their appearance later this week. This will be an all BLACK litter. This will be Dollyā€™s final litter. We are excited as one of these little ones will be staying with us!! These little ones will be heading to their new postal codes come mid January 2026.

Little Miss Rosa has been making waves out in the Quill Lake area the past few weeks!! Doing both pond shoots, and field hunts. Shes just over 1 year of age, weighs in at just inder 50lbs and has put eveything she had learned this summer to work. Shes a little pocket rocket who gets the job done!! Rosa was a part of our Board and Train Gun Dog program this past summer. I cant wait to get Rosa back for the summer of 2026, and get her finished up for her owners!!!
