Our FTW Emmanygan Milkybar WCI JH X Westerkames Biscuit WC JH (Kidda × Peggy) litter is just one day shy of four weeks of age, and these six little chunk balls are absolutely thriving. Peggy is proving once again what an exceptional mother she is, raising a confident, healthy litter of three females and three males.
Puppies are now fully mobile, curious, and eager to explore everything around them. Our field-bred English Springer Spaniel puppies from Narvins Railway Engineer SH and Narvins What’s Your Name (Spike x Askher) are now four weeks old, and they are really starting to show their wonderful Springer personalities!!
This litter is developing exactly as we had hoped. They are full of curiosity, confidence, and that classic Springer Spaniel combination of affectionate cuddliness and enthusiasm for life.
The puppies are becoming more adventurous every day, eagerly exploring the outdoors, investigating new sights and smells, and spending plenty of time running and playing. Happy 10th Birthday to our Boss dog, and my shadow/side kick FTW Odd Jobs WCX SH!!! Or just Ben, or Benny, as he is affectionately known as. He’s my best buddy, and never more than a few feet away from me at all times. He holds a grudge when I go out to work other dogs and leave him behind, but he always gets over it!! He is one Hell of a hunting machine, and has produced some amazing pups!! Ben and I have clicked since the second that I got him, and he is an amazing team player who has a way of making all the hard stuff look way to easy!! I couldn’t imagine life with out him, and I am forever thankful that Ben was sent my way!! Happy Birthday big guy!!

Our FTW Emmanygan Milkybar WCI JH X Westerkames Biscuit WC (Kidda x Peggy) litter is now two weeks old!
It’s hard to believe these little ones are already two weeks of age. The puppies are thriving, growing beautifully, and hitting all of the milestones we hope to see at this stage.
This breeding was over a year in the making and was carefully planned to combine some truly exceptional British field and working bloodlines. While the breeding itself was no surprise, the color split certainly was! Based on the pedigrees behind these puppies, we expected to see more black puppies than yellow. Instead, Mother Nature decided to keep things interesting, and we ended up with more yellows than blacks. It just goes to show that even when you do your homework and carefully study pedigrees and genetics, there can still be a few surprises along the way.
Peggy has once again proven why she is such a special female. She is a retrieving machine in the field , but She is also an incredibly natural, easygoing, and attentive mother who makes raising a litter look effortless. Her puppies are well cared for, content, and growing like weeds.
Over the past few days, eyes have opened and the puppies are beginning to discover the world around them. We’re hearing the occasional little bark when we climb into the whelping box for cuddles, and a few of them are already attempting to get up on their feet and explore. Watching their personalities begin to emerge is always one of the most rewarding parts of raising a litter.

Our field-bred English Springer Spaniel litter from Narvin’s Railway Engineer SH (“Spike”) and Narvin’s What’s Your Name (“Asker”) made their much-anticipated arrival on May 27th!
Asker welcomed nine healthy, beautifully marked puppies into the world—four females and five males. From day one, these little ones have been strong, active, and thriving. Asker is proving to be an exceptional mother, and we couldn’t be happier with how both she and her puppies are doing.
This litter represents everything we strive to produce: dogs with natural ability, outstanding temperaments, and the versatility to excel both in the field and as family companions. Both Spike and Asker are talented hunting dogs with excellent trainability, strong natural instincts, and the classic Springer Spaniel personality that makes the breed so beloved.
