This is King from the 2023 litter. Right around 150lb now and he is so great on the farm. Loves to hang out with the horses and is always close to the kids.

Never knew this was common but we have 2 at once that tested positive and have NO PUPPIES!
Vet thinks the male may have induced it with just being quite ready. Some Dane males don't hit maturity in this area until 2. Simba is 1.

What we learned. Never announce until we have a xray confirming pups, not just positive blood test

After some concern, MollyJane went to the vet yesterday to find out that she has a Pseudo-Pregnancy (Fantom Pregnancy) she has gained the weight and produced the milk but there are NO PUPPIES in there!

Interesting- we found out this is actually way more common and in bred dogs happens to 87% of dogs at least once in their breeding years... I had no idea it was that common!

Apparently our June will be even more exciting!

After a break last heat, I am looking forward to seeing Molly-Janes next litter before the end of the month! She has always been a great momma, with beautiful, healthy, amazing pups 💕
