🐾 Case of the Month 🩺

Every patient has a story — and this month’s case is one we’re excited to share!

Cooper had a very large rapidly growing mass occupying most of the left side of his body. In spite of this giant weight on his side, he was still acting very happy.

After being advised elsewhere that euthanasia was the only option, Cooper’s owner sought a second opinion from Paws & Claws.

Dr. Sharon took the time to fully evaluate him. X-rays and bloodwork were performed to assess his overall condition. He was found to be a very healthy senior dog, other than his rapidly growing tumor.

On the day of surgery, Cooper’s owner was so relieved when Dr Sharon called to say that he was OK and that his 9 lb mass had been removed!

Four days post-surgery, he was eating well, active, carrying his toys, and completely back to himself. His recovery has been remarkable and his owner is so happy that he was given another chance.

She is deeply grateful for the expertise and compassion of Dr Sharon and her team. ❤️
