This call was a 911 emergency as the client JACK a 5yr old Presso Canario mix had bitten & physically injured a smaller dog who resides in the same house requiring a vet visit.
The initial contact w him told me he needed some structure and was just guessing at.what he was supposed to be doing.
I did an assessment while showing this amazing mom & her 2 sons how to give JACK guidance & direction so he can just be a happy stress free dog who let's his hoomans run the show.

After asking details of the bite, it was due to resource guarding and I determined the trigger which mom was unaware of. Lots of intel provided to prevent this from happening in the future as well as doing some tune-up work w JACK.

Lacey.girl graduated after her session Friday. She learned to walk on a slip leash & not pull or go infront of mom possiblly causing a trip hazard.
So i did a tune-up to show mom the technique and get Lacey to engage & then turned her over to mom.

What a day at REN'S PETS talking to customers and potential clients.

I had the opportunity to show a man w a big powerful lab that his dog wasn't beyond help.
I anchored Champ to a sign cemented into the ground because this guy was a tank. I applied the slip leash removing the flat collar and he immediately changed.
He had no training at all so I did a quick inpromptu loose leash demonstration for dad who was shocked.
Champ did great in the brief 10min demonstration considering he was on auto pilot, not sure what to do. Showed him change of directions and figure 8's to help him engage.

SO big task with OLLIES mom looking to move in with RAMBO & RADAR'S dad. So my job was to do a reintroduction w OLLIE so that RAMBO would respond to his presence positively.
The videos will show my techniques as well as talking mom & dad through the behaviors, body language & noises.
I introduced a slip leash to RAMBO which worked so well dad was going to get him one w his REN'S PETS gift card that comes when they booked w me.
This an amazing couple who are so invested in giving these pups the best life possible did great & loose leash walking was the final task but Rambo was getting tired after 2hrs.
